Overpriced and very difficult to use I threw the damn thing away

I was excited to order a Waterdrop bottle as I’m a tennis coach and appreciate their sponsorship of the ATP tour. Really disappointed about the quality, I dropped it , half full , from 2 feet on a laminate floor and the bottle suffered a 1 “ x “ “ dent. I’ve dropped my - - - - ( brand withheld ) container numerous times on harder / angular surfaces and hardly any damage at all. For the price point , thoroughly disappointed. This is the first review on any product I have written in 40 years.

The bottle is really excellent. We have quite a few bottles and are pretty picky - and only use stainless. So this pass the muster for bottle quality. The lid is a little cheap in that you cannot really lock it out, so a spill could occur in a bag and the plastic is sort of chintzy. But I think this larger a pathway to buying the cubes and those I do not like. My kids think they are cool. But I think water on its own is fine and was curious to see how this went. It's just too strong for me and the taste is too artificial.

I have to admit, I liked this stainless steel bottle, which is why I chose this one. It's easy to clean, light and durable. The bottle is really nice, painted well and a little on the tall skinny side. The only downfall is that the drinking spout is super tight. I understand that you don't want it to leak but most water bottles can be utilized simply by pulling on the cap top with your teeth to drink while on the go. Not this one, you have to really pull.The cubes were actually pretty tasty and kind of a surprise to me. They are made with stevia and that's my artificial sweeter of choice. There's 12 to a pack and three different flavors. I went to look these up to possible purchase different flavors and such and couldn't find this brand. I found plenty of other table-type flavor enhancers but this one. I'll check back as this flavored water was pretty good, not overpowering and calorie free!
