I personally love this brush because it works really well with my hair type. I have very fine/thin hair that gets very oily on the top and dry on the ends. This brush helps a lot to distribute the natural oils and gave a beautiful shine to my hair after using it for a couple weeks. The instructions that came with the brush were very helpful in getting the best results. Barely any shedding of the bristles, even when cleaning. I don't think this brush would work for someone with thick hair because it barely makes it through mine. Lastly I love how it's a wooden base and comes with a wooden comb too.

This is a beautiful brush. The bristles are soft and gentle enough for my very fine hair but not too soft. It looks beautifully made also. The bristles feels wonderful on my scalp. I haven’t had it for too long so I’m not sure how long it will last but so far so good.

I’m very protective of my hair and oddly enough I’m just now learning to take care of it. I’m in the midst of figuring out what’s best for my hair and scalp and I can’t even explain how as soon as I did the first brush my hair loved it. I have a lot of hair but it’s thin. It’s also curly so the odds are against it. This brush is what I’ve been looking for to keep my hair super cute and healthy. Thanks belula <3

This came beautifully packaged with instructions on how to clean and all! I'm very impressed overall with the quality. Given that I'm using a fine textured hairbrush, I can't say how these would work for ethnic hair. However, ppl with ethnic hair taught me to use this brush to smooth down my fine textured hair without using hair products that I'm allergic to.

The comb and brush are very well made and I do love the thick wooden comb. I do not care for the very short bristles on the brush. I find it difficult to brush my hair so seldom use it.

While looking for a hairbrush on Amazon, I found this 100% boars hair brush, and thought, 'I remember those!'. In my teens and 20's, I used boars hair brushes and loved them. So I gave this one a try. First of all, the makers of this brush are proud of it - they pack it carefully and provide a special bag for storage. The brush is made of wood and has the company logo on it. In addition to the brush, they provide a matching wood comb. Both are beautiful and feel sturdy in your hand. The wood is smooth and polished.I have been using this brush for some weeks now and I am really pleased with the condition of my hair. I had been having trouble with it being limp and unmanageable, but the body, bounce and shine are back. It feels thicker and fuller - which is never the case in winter.I have also had problems as I've gotten older with strange parts appearing in the back of my head, which were difficult to hide. Those parts are still there, of course, but are almost completely hidden in the fullness of my hair. At 70 years older, I feel like my younger hair is back. My hair is white at the top which can make it look thin, but even the white hair looks full.I don't know why it has helped my hair, but the material does say that boars hair bristles distribute your scalp's natural sebum. I also think it helps remove some of the residue from styling products.I use this once a day before bed for around 5 minutes. I brush in sections - the bristles are short, and you want to make sure you make gentle contact with your scalp as you brush. I start at the bottom and brush upward, using the comb to pull sections down and continue to brush up and down between each section. A nice little scalp massage.This brush is not for styling but for hair health and it did greatly improve my hair's look and feel.

I never write reviews, but I love my new hairbrush. It’s nice and gentle on my hair and or feels luxurious. I have long hair but it’s not too thick. This brush is perfect.
