The Last Laces You'll Ever Need
I tried many different kinds of laces on these skates I rip long hills up and down with. RJ-Sport. FireLace. Hiking laces. Workboot laces. Nothing could stay together for how hard I push these skates. But then came IRONLACE. 1.5 years of intense skating later and they haven't so much as hinted at fraying. They have gotten slightly "fuzzy" where the knot has been but their integrity is as stable as when I got them. No loosening, no snapping. Absolutely recommend for those who really push it.

Excellent
At first the shoelaces were skinny and stiff with a smooth exterior. I worried it wouldn't grip in a knot and the diameter was too small for my large hands to tie tight. I have had them for months and love them. The stiffness is gone and the exterior has a good texture. Love that when I pull on my shoelaces that I worry more about the eyelets giving away than the lace. Going to buy some more for other shoes.

Quality laces
The original laces on my Sketchers hiking boots broke because of the sharp eyelets. I don't understand how shoe manufacturers can't get something so simple right after a few hundred years of making shoes... These laces appear to be well made. My only complaint is that for what these laces cost, they didn't use metal aglets. I removed one star for that.

They built like iron
I am very happy but I swear they were black and within few weeks they light up a little almost gray with black for my boots still looks ok. Just something worth mentioning.

Could survive a Nuke
Incredible laces. I was about to toss out some old hiking boots but decided just to try replacing the laces and restoring the leather to see if I could breathe more life into them. The boots look incredible again and these laces are great. they never come untied and I'm pretty sure they could survive a bomb blast. It's a solid upgrade for any boot.

They really are super-tough.
They really are super-tough - tho' a bit stiff until they break-in, which means they're hard to tie and can come undone.

Tough
Iโve only had these for a few weeks and let me tell you, these laces are tough. Thereโs very little stretch to these laces. They are very rough in texture. In fact I cut down a few trees with these things and then built myself a Huckleberry Finn style raft and used the laces to tie the logs together and floated on down the mighty Mississippi River.

Badass Laces!!
I do alot of plasma cutting, use cutting torch daily, constantly throwing sparks from my angle grinder on them, & work in some of the harshest areas imaginable. Laces usually fail for me in 2 months time. These have been in my boots for 11 months now & still look brand new after i wash them. Id say id buy them again, but i highly doubt ill ever need to purchase new laces. Worth every penny!!!

Well made
The laces look to be well made and sturdy. The length is as described.Edit: the pair I have are loosing their black colour and going grey like me!

Not suitable shoes requiring thinner laces
While super strong and all that, the aglets (the ends of the laces) are too large for my eyelets. Of course, having spaghetti sized laces is also why they tend to break. I've just popped a pair of grafters in, and they did fit. I will have to save these for another pair of shoes. Also, could do with a pair that is considerably shorter for 3 eyelet shoes.

Excellent laces
These are great so tough they are rough on the hands a little. But exactly what I needed as Iโm a lace breaker normally (when it comes to nylon basic boot laces).

Very strong.
They're very strong, but not very flexible, if I need to get them again I'll probably order them slightly longer than needed to make them easier to tie. That said you don't need to double bow them as once they're tied they don't move.

Knots keep coming undone.
The material from which these laces are made is definitely strong, BUT it is also hard and slippery and knots keep coming undone. If you are buying these laces make sure you choose a length that will allow you to double knot them.
