Good shotgun, rifle or search light.
I researched small long throw flashlights for a long time before I decided on this one. I hunt hogs, anyone who hunts hogs at night understands how they vanish at distance. This is due to their dull color and hair that breaks up their outline. The human eye cannot recognize the form. It will cast a beam out to 430ish yards. Anything inside 250 yards is identifiable. You would really need glass beyond 300 yards unless it is reflective. It is set perfect because the highest setting comes on immediately. The light is perfect for my needs. Small, light weight weapon mountable, sturdy and battery lasts a good long time. Most tactical lights are really meant for indoor use clearing rooms etc.. not very good for hunting. I do wish they had supplied an extra set of batteries for all night hunts but if with the advancement of electronics now days it won’t be long before a true 1000 meter light the size of a pencil is not far away. All and all I love the light. Well worth the money. I do want to buy another. Oh! Hey if Klarus needs a test driver, I’ll be your Huckleberry. Great light good throw and good flood all in one beam.👍👍👍👍P.S. DO NOT let your wife use it! She will never give it back.

Super bright, has a very,very long range. I do have to say the advertisement is deceiving about the batteries, it make's it appear that there are 2 battery casings with the lite. It really should explain the batteries (2) are contained within the body of the flashlite itself!!! Great programmability, does get a bit warm during "turbo" use, but I will be buying another one for my truck!
