Worth it!

After days and days of research I decided to buy a Pro breeze. First was the 12L one, after a week I've noticed a bigger one would be better for our studio and I got the 20L one. Both are good, does what they are supposed to do collecting water and keeping the humidity down. I've noticed that our flat is more warmer than it was before, it doesn't need to turn the heat on so often, no mould in the one of the corner which it used to be with this problem. The windows still wet in the morning after a very cold night but I wipe them with a dry cloth and I also have thick curtains and there's no air over night. The machine is not on during the night because is noisy, even on sleep mode I can hear it with the ear plugs on. The 12L one is more silent.Good value for money, everything works fine, the timer, it stops when full, dry clothes fast, the tank easy to empty, and nice design. Not sure about how much electricity consumed because I haven't noticed a major difference. Maybe £1 a day or less.Still give 5 stars even if is noisy because I'm very happy with it and I don't know how I lived in UK so many years without it. Is part of my life now and I'm very excited. Thanks to tik tok because there I've saw it for the first time.

Saving me money on heating bills

The media could not be loaded. Love these dehumidifiers! This review shows a video for the baby one ; 13lVideo starts with the machine running on high. I then hit the sleep button so you can see how quiet it is when in sleep mode. Keep in mind I have my phone next to it and on full volume. it’s really quiet if it seems noisey it’s my video skillsI’ve added my room measurements at the bottom so you can decide what one may work best for you based on the size of your roomI Initially brought a 20l for my conservatory which really suffers in winter within a few hours it felt warmer and all winter no mould 🥳 smells better. Has a timer feature which may be useful for some and I have found it to be fairly durable it’s doing an amazing job. Automatic switch off when it reaches the right humidity is helpful also.Where I have a very old loft conversion it is not as well protected as a roof conversion would be these days. Even in April it gets very cold and damp. So as the conservatory was warm brought up the 20l and worked a treat, no mould, the room became a few degrees warmer which meant I didn’t need the heating on (bedroom at 15-17 is too cold for me with COPD) but the dehumidifier brought it up to 18-21 so perfect.Whilst the 20l isn’t necessarily big it did take up a fair bit of space as I already have an air-con unit (opposite issue in summer it’s unbearably hot) so decided to buy a 13l for my bedroomWorks brilliantly - just as effective as the 20l for the size of room. No mould, it’s warmer when it’s running and whilst I didn’t have an issue with the 20l noise wise the 13l I can’t hear from my side of the bed, it is so quiet.Great little machines! I also brought mine on a nearly new would never have known it but saved over £50 so very pleased. The 20l one is now in my living room space which had no natural light and can again be quite chilly (very old build) it’s keeping it just a few degrees warmer, no extra heating bill and no mouldI’m feeling better and I’m saving money ☺️ very happy with my machinesSize of rooms; My conservatory is about 3mx3mBedroom 4mx4mLiving room is 4mx6m

Brilliant product, actually works very well

Purchased this to Dehumidify a cabin / gym which needs to be around 30-50% humidity, amongst other areas. New floor laid which introduced large amounts of water. Where a cheap Temu product (useless) failed, this was excellent. Can recommend. Easy to operate (didn't need manual) Light and protable enough to use in various places, and can maintain humidity in locations. Lesson learned; don't be cheap.

Quite noisy, but works well

We discovered we have damp problems in some of the north facing parts of our home. Where furniture was close to walls, we found some mould had started. After a bit of research, one way of dealing with this situation is to lower the humidity in your home. I checked humidity around our house and in found in some locations it was very high.I wanted an all-home unit so I didn’t need to move it about or have to buy 2, but didn’t want to pay more than about £200, and began checking reviews. It wasn’t an easy search as it seems every single make and model had customers reporting problems and recommending something else. I found by following these recommendations you just end up in a circle of never finding anything suitable and eventually getting referred back to where you started.Reviews seemed to be better on the £300+ models and really high-end industrial ones, but even those have their fair share of people reporting issues. I don’t have the space for the really large units and I didn’t have time to mess about. I resigned myself to the fact that whatever I would buy it may have issues and just went with what best fitted me.I got a good impression of the Pro Breeze company, from YT videos and some of the customer reports of dealing with them. I also liked that some reviews spoke about them as a British based company, although I later found a small Made in China sticker on the back of my unit. British owned I guess, but I’m not even sure about that.I very nearly went with the Pro Breeze 20L model. I switched to getting this 30L model at the last second for a few reasons. One was that the price was almost the same. Another was a US YT video which recommended you only buy units rated above 25L. The final reason was I found out the 30L model was a much newer model of theirs compared to the 20L.I had previously read about leakage problems with the 20L and so (cross fingers) I gambled Pro Breeze would have learnt from this and sorted the leak issues on the newer model.I’m not using any of the app stuff, so I can’t comment on that. The unit works great as it is and I can control everything I want from the panel built-it. On its first day of use it gathered about 1L and I then shifted it around the house until I realised that placement made a big difference. The most I’ve got out of it was 3L in a day, but I’m only running it about 8-12Hrs a day, not constantly and not every day. I always just set it to auto, so it just keeps going until it thinks it is 50% and then stops.I purchased two humidity monitors at the same time and setup one at the top and bottom of our stairs. I check these daily and they are often quite different, with either the upstairs of down being the more humid. Sometimes by up to 20% difference.I’ve used this dehumidifier about a month now and I’ve kind of fallen into a routine of running it a couple days and then waiting until a monitor shows humidity on the high side, then moving the unit either up or down the stairs and running it for a couple of days. Humidity then tends to be fine for a while and couple of days later I may need to use it again. By doing things in this way I’ve managed to keep levels below low 60s around the house. What I like about it:+ I like how powerful it is and it gets lots of water out of the air.+ I like how the dehumidified air exits on one side, so you can for example set up on the landing and fire the dried air into a bedroom.+ I like the simple controls (this was a big part of buying it after seeing the demo on YT)+ It hasn’t leaked for me and the extraction of the drip tray is easy to do.What I didn’t like about it:- Wow is this thing heavy! If you are not a big bloke you may struggle to carry this up/down stairs.- It makes a lot of noise when in use. It is a combination of air con and an industrial fridge noise at the same time (well that is kind of what it is after all). You do get used to the sound after a while, but I wouldn’t run this near you when you are trying to sleep.- I knew this before buying, but the fan runs all the time it is on, even when it is ‘off’ because the room has reached its target humidity. On that fan issue, be careful of people warning you off units where the fan keeps running. There are different technologies in play between units and having the fan run all the time is not always an indication the manufacturer doesn’t know what they are doing and left it running by accident. I think it is something to do with preventing ice build up. Which may be the cause of leaks on models where the fan stops?I’m going to give this 4-stars. It does everything I expected it to do and I haven’t had any issue with it (yet). However, it is a lot noisier than I was expecting. I can put up with the noise for the results it achieves, but be aware of that trade off.
