Not sturdy at all. Very wobbly, cannot tighten enough.

These are pretty simple looking, and I wish they were taller, but they were the best option I could find for the price. I ordered two sets (4 total) to remedy the collapsing towers of towels in my linen closet. They will accommodate a stack of 4-5 bath towels (although if you fold yours differently, you may be able to get more in your stack) or 8-10 hand towels. They hug my 1 inch shelves nicely for the most part (one leans slightly, but I think it may actually be the wood that is warped) but overall, they've brought order to my mess of a closet and I'm actually considering ordering a few more for some different closets in my house.

I was using them for clothing, but the shelves omit a terrible smell that then is on all the t-shirts and towels. I had to throw all of them away and wash all my laundry again.

I like that they are solid dividers. There are fairly sturdy, but will move a little bit depending on the thickness of your shelf.

I like these better than I thought I would. They are a pretty good quality and look nice. Pretty sturdy too.

No instructions, unable to secure

I purchased used, which was not a problem. My shelf was not thick enough for the twist-lock device underneath to hold the divider in place. Tried using a shim of sorts underneath to tighten it, but was unable to stabilize the divider. Returned it. The only way that I can imagine being able to use this item is if you have a really thick shelf, like 1"or greater. I think that the design is awful and rickety, and I do not recommend this item.

They do the trick but are a little flimsy... should be a better way to lock them in place

I loved the shelf deciders. They were very easy to install and did the job I wanted them to do.

These were totally flimsy and the bottom part was not adjustable to the width of the shelf. The bottom would not clamp or stay upright. I ended up screwing them to the shelf with an L-brace to get any use out of them.

The dividers themselves are fine but my shelf is too thick to allow them to be fixed on. Would be so much better if shelf thickness was adjustable on dividers.
