I gave this to my 6yr old Grandson for Christmas. He loved it along with some of the rest of us adults who played with it. Well worth the money for a beginner drummer.

This drum kit is really nice. It produces really nice sound and is easy to use even for a beginner. I got this for my nephew who loves music and plays the guitar already. It charges really quickly with usb c and has a number of different rhythms and sounds to play with. It has a headphone jack sou you can use headphones if you want or you could use it to connect to an aux port too. My Nephew was very pleased with this.

I got this on a whim cause I always wanted to try drums. I'm not a musician at all, so I can't judge it for it's musical caliber.What I can say is that I was having a stressful day with a lot of things to worry about and when I started to just play some simple beats on it I zoned out for like 10-15 mins and when I stopped the stress was gone. I felt light, like I just woke from a nap, fresh, invigorated, my shoulders felt lighter, and in a better lighter mood. So I say, if you have stress, in my opinion, this thing can really help with that.So what about the item? It's soft silicone, probably with some embedded piezo discs. What I like it has is you can charge it and use it n the go. It comes with two pedals, two drum sticks, a USB charger cable.While it has speaker I recommend you use wired over the ear headphones with 3.5mm jack. it has other features like rec, play, and a set of beats to play to. You can also change to 5 different styles of drums or percussion instruments. Supposedly you can connect it to your computer and record directly to mp3 but I have yet to try this.The only thing I wish this item had was the ability to play other instruments like guitar or piano, or violin via drumming. Also it would be nice to upload a set of sounds and play them, try out different sound patterns. If a version like that came out I'd buy it.All in all, I'm very pleased with this drum pad kit.

Really nice that it has a rechargeable battery so you can use it wherever you may be. It is a nice little gift for the aspiring drummer and being able to use headphones makes everyone in the house happy.

I just realized this didn't need to be plugged in all the time!I picked this out because I have no musical talent and thought banging on some drums to make noise would be fun - and it is. It's better than a stress ball for me. And I have it out on the counter, and anyone passing by likes to bang around on it.The drum sounds are fantastic - the four stars are because it doesn't have pressure sensors, so if you tap it lightly, it will be just as loud as if you smashed it hard. (I'm no drummer, but I do know that different sounds are made by how hard one taps or hits the drum)That said, this is the most used item I've picked up yet.

The packaging and feel of this drum pad is perfect for a pot banging child because it feels secure and well made. Of course the drum pad is not as loud as a drum nor does it sound as authentic as a real drum...but to a child, this doesn't matter. Not for an adult unless your working on rhythm and want some stress release time.

As a kid, I always wanted to play the drums, but for *some* reason, my parents steered me towards piano and fiddle. Now that I’m grown, I decided to get this set and see how I fare. I was definitely impressed with the sound from this electronic drum set. It’s a lot of fun to play with, and I am sure that with lots of practice, I will be professional sounding in no time ha ha. The set charges up fast, and comes with drum sticks and pedals. There are probably better value sets out there, but I’m happy with my purchase. This would make a good gift for your favorite nephew or brother.
