Zac Efron stars in this romantic drama based on a novel by Nicholas Sparks. US Marine Sergeant Logan Thibault (Efron) returns from his third tour of duty in Iraq clutching a photograph of a woman he has never met, which he has come to see as the good luck charm that has kept him alive. After some investigation he learns that the woman's name is Beth (Taylor Schilling), finds out where she lives and ends up getting a job at the kennels run by her family. Despite Beth's initial skepticism and various obstacles in her life, the two gradually become closer, leading Logan to hope that Beth could become far more to him than just a good luck charm.

Interesting storyline wrapped around an evolving romantic relationship.
Fundamentally a romantic tale from warfare leading to relationship building based around finding a photograph on the battlefield. Could have been a mushy disaster but managed to be interesting and very enjoyable.

True to the Book
Based on the book by Nicholas Sparks, so you know exactly what you are in for, romance at its best.I read the book first then heard about the movie, I wasn't sure about Zac Efron playing the male lead as I thought he was too young. Having seen the movie, I was not disappointed, he played this character extremely well, I was completely convinced, I forgot about the age issue. The film is very true to the book

fabulous chick flick
i first saw zac efron in high school musical and i must admit he didn't stand out, but in this movie he has captured the role so well. how he feels separate from his family because of what he has been through and how he starts to let new people and places into his life. loved every minute.

Super Film, sogar früher da als angekündigt. Hinten auf englisch beschrieben aber im Menü kann man dann zwischen mehreren Sprachen (auch deutsch) wählen. Bester kauf :)
