The Midlands four-piece are one of the prime reasons that new British guitar music is looking in such fine health. New single 'TV' is a frenetic opener, razor-sharp and soaked in melody, it erupts from the speakers with an artfully-crafted college-rock sound. Formed out of chance meetings and enduring friendships, and soundtracked by whatever was playing out of the all-night warehouse parties they spend long weekends at, Superfood's formation to becoming a buzz name in venues and on blogs across the UK has been remarkably swift. Recorded at Chapel Studios in Lincolnshire, the record was produced by Al O'Connell and mixed by Steve Osborne and James Dring, and includes singles 'Superfood', 'TV' and EP track 'Melting' as well as a host of new material.

Do say that
A great album. I was after something new and different a few months ago and this does not disappoint. A few Blur-esque moments in there, I think. Very good.

I rarely leave reviews but this album is amazing, the vinyl quality was fantastic and the music by superfood is just magical, if anyone has a chance to buy this album and/or see them live do it!

Very Impressed
Beautiful album, both in its physical form as the vinyl, and in its content. This album pushes the boundaries for Indie Rock and for me, brings something very fresh to the table at a time when the sounds of bands such as Peace, Jaws and Swim Deep are becoming very homogenous.Tl;dr it's FAB

Excellent debut, harps back to Brit indie explosion in the late 80's and 90's and adds great energy, lyric jokes, and the sheer joy of making good tunes.

Banana pop
