Broken within the first hour of detecting. These are such poorly made headphones that I am surprised Whites would attach their name to such junk. My initial thoughts when I removed them from the packaging were that these would suffice until a better solution came alone since getting a lightweight set of headphones with a 1/4 inch angled jack and short cord seemed impossible. Adjustment points for the headband were so weak that I had to constantly readjust these each time I removed them to dig a signal. Flimsy is putting it mildly. The angle of this set on my ears was very uncomfortable. It seems they are designed more for a woman or younger persons head. The cord is extremely thin and the coiled section immediately began to stretch out of shape. After about an hour of constant on and off one of the ear pieces simply broke off. They are made to twist inward for storage but the hinge is all plastic and also extremely flimsy. I can possibly glue the parts together but doubt they will ever be strong enough to hold up to the rigors of metal detecting. I have the Garrett lightweight set which also has the 1/4 inch angled jack but the cord is about 6 feet long so I have to bunch it up to prevent it getting tangled in everything. I have my Deus corded backphones which work fine but also have an overly long cord. I will continue to use the Garrett since it is a much more durable set and just figure out a better way to neatly bunch up the extra wire so it doesn't dangle or get caught up in everything. These are not at all worth the money I wasted on them. Don't even bother with them since the Garrett and even the Deus sets are under 20 bucks. I'll just have to break down and pay the extra for a lightweight set of quality wireless headphones. All in all a very poor experience. You get what you pay for in most cases but in this situation you get far less.
