Clip« Flip Up - "smaller frame styles" Our "patented, all metal" flip up mechanism securely clips to the top of your plastic or metal frame, allowing you to obtain polarized, 100% UV protection with our superior polarizing lens system, protecting your eyes from the sun's damaging rays and blinding glare. In addition, our polarized lenses are also highly scratch resistant. You now have the convenience of just flipping them up or down while boating, fishing, or just driving your car. Our patented flip up "all metal" mechanisms are virtually unbreakable, and the metal mechanism from our proprietary "sticky" vinyl clip coating system protects your lenses by preventing slippage and scratching.

Good Flip-up Lenses.
The clip on sun glasses work well and also seem to be made well, and the polarized lenses give that added protection. They clip on easily without the need to remove your glasses (but this is not to say that everyone will be able to place them on blindly). When I flip the lenses up, they stay up whether walking normally or hard, the lenses stay up. Optically, they are clear and free of blurriness, waving, and scratches. I use a commercial lens cleaner to clean them and have found no damage done to the lenses from it. So, I do recommend them for purchase with one caveat; the descriptions include measurements, and those measurements are the size of the lenses. What you're going to want to do is make sure they fit the lenses on your glasses. This will ensure that the sun glasses cover the entire lenses of your glasses, giving you the most protection from the sun. I was unaware of this and mine are a little bit smaller then my glasses, but fit well enough to give me good coverage, though in the future I will check the sizes better the next time.

they might work better.
I will be returning this. I pre-measured my lenses and the lens of these clip-ons match, so that's not the problem. The problem is that they are not designed to clip below a normal thickness glasses frame, so you would need to order a larger depth to drop down low enough. Or if your lenses have an almost invisible, very thin frame, they might work better.

Clip wears through pad and permanently scratches glasses.
I would highly discourage anyone who values their ophthalmic lenses from purchasing this item. The padding ("proprietary coating") on the clips wore through after several months of intermittent use, revealing the metal clip inside and creating permanent, localized scratch marks on my glasses. I ended up replacing my lenses after the scratches became intolerable, costing me around $150.Note: I have polycarbonate lenses, but I would imagine the clip would also scratch CR-39 or mineral glass lenses.

Work well with progressive lenses
I needed sunglasses for driving that would work with progressive lenses that darken with light. However they do not get darker in the car. These flip ups are easy to attach and work well for driving. The ordering worked well to determine which size. It would have been easier if the inches equivalent had been noted on the sizes which necessitated conversion as I did not have a millimeter ruler to measure my glasses.

Best fit finally
Great clip-on for prescription glasses. Old ones too big, too dark. These just right on darkness, takes out glare but clearly defines colors still. At half of what you get in stores with poor fit, would recommend these for perfect use.

These are perfect!
These are perfect! I can wear my glasses and not worry about carrying around sunglasses. A definite life saver as far as I'm concerned. They clip on super easily with one hand and come off just as easily. I leave them in my car clipped to the sun visor so they're always to hand when I need them. I'm going to order at least one more pair so I can leave one in my purse and one in the other car.

This is one of the few places you can still ...
This is one of the few places you can still get clip-on sunglasses. The downside is that without trying them on, they might not fit despite instructions for measuring the size before ordering. In my case, the thicker frames didn't allow the clip-on glasses to cover the entire prescription lenses. A different measurement instruction needs to be developed.
