I’m sure this works well IF you have the original remote to use in programming this new one… you place the old remote next to the new one and assign the buttons to program. Problem is… the reason I bought this in the first place is because we LOST the original remote. Soooo…. Yeah, ran into a little problem there lol!

This remote is just what we needed for controlling the TV, sound bar, and Roku from one simple controller. Programming the TV and sound bar buttons was easy. The Apple TV+ button on the original Roku remote was easy to program to the "A" button of the Sofabaton (since it's not there).

I have a Samsung TV that I use with a Roku to stream everything I watch. After years of trying to keep track of multiple remotes, I came across the Sofabaton and will never need to use the original remotes again! My entire family is much happier now that we can use the same remote to turn on the TV, change volume and control the Roku. The set up was very easy and I like that you can decide what functions the top of the remote buttons will control. The Roku/bottom part of the remote is already set up when it arrives so it only takes a few of steps before you are all ready to go!

I ordered this to replace a lost remote for our Roku Hisense Smart TV. I followed the directions exactly as they state to do, using the remote from another Roku Hisense Smart TV that we have that works on this TV also but was tired of using the same remote for both TVs and that is why I ordered this one. The instructions tell you that the bottom portion of the remote, the "Roku" part, can NOT be programmed. So I am assuming that it should just work automatically once you program the top section to work with your TV. The first one I received did not work. I was able to program the top section but the bottom section would not work. So I returned it for a replacement. I got the replacement and the same thing happened with it. I was able to program the top portion to work as a "Roku" remote kind of so that I am able to access most functions. That is not the way the remote was advertised to work though and now I have a remote that does somewhat work but only halfway. I need a remote for our bedroom TV though so I chose to keep the replacement but still not happy that it does not work fully.

Good idea for a product and easy to program, but cheaply made. I’ve had two of these, the first one the buttons started sticking after 6 months and this new one the buttons started sticking within a week of purchase.

I looked around Amazon for a while trying to find something like this and I am very satisfied. The remote feels pretty good, the buttons don't feel soft or unresponsive. But most importantly the programming is extremely simple and I was able to take functions from each of my various remotes and map them onto this one.Time will tell if the quality doesn't hold up but I rarely write reviews and this was good enough to motivate me write this one.
