Small Frame, Silent Game—A Handy USB‑C Upgrade
Plug‑and‑play really is plug‑and‑play here: as soon as I slid the nano receiver into my MacBook’s USB‑C port the pointer sprang to life, and the compact shell—about 4.1 × 2.6 × 1.6 inches—nestles neatly under the palm without hogging space in a laptop sleeve.Newegg.comTracking is smooth on both a cloth pad and the bare kitchen table, while the silent primary clicks keep Zoom colleagues blissfully unaware of my frantic note‑taking. Even after a long spreadsheet session the matte coating stays grippy, though anyone with larger hands will probably feel their fingertips dangling over the front edge.A few quirks showed up once the honeymoon wore off. The twin browser‑navigation buttons sit exactly where my thumb likes to rest, and I’ve lost a form or two after brushing the “back” switch—easy enough to disable with a bit of tape, but still irritating. The scroll wheel feels crisp now, yet I’ve seen reports of units where it dulls after a couple of months, so long‑term durability may vary. Swapping the single AA battery is also more drama than it should be: the spring on both ends clamps so tightly that a gentle shake won’t free it, and I find myself smacking the mouse against my hand to pry it loose.Still, for roughly the price of a take‑out lunch this little workhorse delivers reliable 2.4 GHz performance, frees my only USB‑A port, and keeps the workspace serenely quiet. Auto‑sleep after fifteen minutes stretches battery life well past a month, and the low‑profile footprint makes it a natural travel companion. If you value portability and silent clicks more than a palm‑filling ergonomic shape—and don’t mind taming those side buttons—it’s an easy “add to cart.”

Really like this mouse
It was out of the box and working in about 90 seconds - and most of that was finding a AA battery. It is MUCH lighter than my previous mouse and smaller/faster too.Highly recommend.

Great product
Awesome mouse! I bought it for my MacBook and it works great. The battery life is good and the overall functionality is good as well. I’d recommend to anyone!

Scroll wheel doesn't work.
Scroll wheel doesn't work. I had some issues to work out with replacing the battery on this laptop I got thru my employers recycling program. Unfortunately, in that time the return window has closed. Now that I have everything setup, the mouse doesn't work; and this is not tolerable for me. Due to the fact that using the scroll wheel is the primary means I use to interact with web pages. Ill have to buy another so I am not happy.

Great basic mouse that works well with my MacBook Air 2023
I've been using this mouse with my MacBook Air 2023 for over a year. It is close to being a perfect wireless mouse. It has a ridiculously long life off of a single AA battery (despite never turning it off). I believe I've only replaced the battery once over the last year. Although I have to press a button to "wake it up" in order for the Mac to recognize it, I've gotten very used to this.Unlike the Magic Mouse that I had previously, the scrolling isn't nearly as smooth using the scroll wheel. I also can't use the "back" button on the mouse to navigate Safari. Despite these shortcomings, I will not be going back to the Magic Mouse due to the exceptional duration of life on a single AA battery. It is obviously an exceptional value at this price point compared to the Magic Mouse.
