Iv been on the hunt for the perfect pair of long distance hiking wool underwear. So far i have tried smart wool and Minus 33, these fit so much better. The smart wool cut into my butt and are tiny, the minus 33 are comfortable but are weirdly very high in the back, these fit perfectly, like normal underwear... not sure why everyone else is having such a tough time designing normal fitting will underwear.

I became a convert about 10 years ago when the Icebreaker brand had a sale. My merino wool panties are my favorite, but the price is pretty steep.

I bought a size large according to the size chart. I usually wear a medium. I decided I would go by the chart because these underwear are very expensive. When I tried them on, they were too big and baggy in the butt. I decided to try a medium as I have an upcoming packing trip in the mountains. When I received the medium, they were cut much smaller. I would say a small to extra small. They didn't cover my butt and they were very low on the hips. I am 5'6 and 146 lbs. I don't have big hips, nor am I a pear shape. These underwear are way too expensive to have such a huge difference in cut and fit, from a large to a medium. Very disappointed. I was hoping they would work for me. The material is also thinner than I had expected.

Love the softness and weight of these panties but the cut did not work for me. The small was too small and the medium was too large. For reference I am a size 6 pear shape. 5'8" 130 pounds.

These are perfect. Substantial material, soft, true to size. Much better than that other brand of wool underwear that starts with an S.

These are expensive underwear but I bought them to take on a long vacation as they were rated hood for travel. The first pair I bought the box came literally empty, amazon was good and replaced them but it took over a week to get. I brought this replacement pair with me, have worn them 3 times and there is a hole at the seam. I went on Icebreakers site and since I didn’t buy through them directly they won’t honor their guarantee and I have to go through Amazon. It’s been more than 30 days so now I’m stuck with expensive underwear that have a hole in them after three uses.

I did not like the cut of these. I am 5ft. 130lbs. I have somewhat of a big butt. I did not like how they didn't cover my butt all the way. So they rode up too much. I ordered a medium. These may be good if you have a small butt. I however like the boy short version of these and I have a feeling i would like a hipster cut if available. I really like the fabric and that they are easy to clean. They are great travel underwear or great underwear for a minimalist like myself.

Durch Zufall erst die Boxershorts von Icebreaker (Sprider) für mich entdeckt und bin nun dabei, meine gesamte (Alltags-) Unterwäsche durch Siren Slips von Icebreaker zu ersetzen. Sehr alltagstauglich, nicht nur beim Sport oder Outdoor. Sehr bequem, zwickt nicht und sammelt sich auch nicht in der "Po-Ritze" wie manch andere Slips. Bei Hosengröße 38/40 bzw. Jeans 28 passt M. Der Schnitt ist natürlich nicht super-sexy aber auch nicht hässlich, mein Freund findet sie optisch ansprechend.Unschlagbar erstaunlicherweise auch in warmem Wetter (hatte sie in meinem Asien-Urlaub dabei) da man darin nicht schwitzt bzw. man fühlt sich darin nicht nass. Bei Mehrtageswanderungen und Auslüften nachts durchaus auch 2 bis 3 Tage lang tragbar. Trocknen zwar nicht so schnell wie Microfaser-Unterwäsche, dafür aber schneller als Baumwolle. Von meiner Seite klare Kaufempfehlung, v.A. wenn es hier bei Amazon Preisaktionen dafür gibt.

Great fit and comfort. One of not many warm pants which actually look sexy

I absolutely love merino clothing and have dozens of Icebreaker items - my only complaint is the price! I find the 'shortie' style ones are more comfortable for me than the bikini briefs, but they're excellent for wearing on hot days as they wick sweat away and dry fast. Will buy more pairs if I see them in the sales!
