Cheap Insurance
This is the 2nd INNOV camera I’ve owned. The first (don’t remember the model) was hard mounted to the motorcycle. That system seemed clunky and not very user friendly. I sold that motorcycle, and the camera went with it.I still wanted to be able to record my ride, mainly to protect myself if something happened. I mounted the camera to my helmet and took off. I record on a 512g card and just let it run while I ride. The video is great and I can’t even tell there’s anything extra hanging off the helmet. The bonus is I found a mount for my bicycle handlebars. Again, I appreciate having a video recording if something was to happen when out riding.Yep I’d buy it again. It’s simple and light and has a long battery life.

So much better than expected
I ride and live on the motorcycle full time. There are usually 5 cameras in different positions and with battery life and connection issues I'm lucky to have one running, especially in the wet, dusty conditions I get into. This camera I helmet mounted and the way it assembles is far superior to others as far as water and dust tight. It has a fantastic adapter to run all day off an aux battery pack, and the quality and stabilization are amazing. Izzy and I will go back to Alaska this year and I hope to get lots of great footage. I may even pick up another if I can save up for it.

Not secure
This camera attach to your helmet with a 3M pice of tape. When it comes loose the camera will fall off and probably be destroyed. You will have to make a safety lanyard for it if you don't want to loose your camera.

Good quality and stable
It’s a good quality and easy to understand camera for bikes. I am using it on my bike to make videos when travelling and it’s so far working good. The phone app is also easy to operate. Good video quality, not the best but still good. Wanted to get a go pro but tried this one and someone meets expectations of a go pro for cheaper price. Satisfied with the purchase.

A HUGE disappointment and uncaptured memories
I researched cameras for about 3 months and within that time focused on the Innovv H5 camera as it seemed to be a promising compromise to some of the GoPros and the DJI camera series – both which were quite a bit more pricey for my first venture into the helmet camera arena. The reason I wanted the camera to begin with is due to my first epic motorcycle trip from the Midwest to the east coast to ride the Outer Banks of North Carolina along with other locations along the way, such as riding through the Smoky Mtns and up to Virginia to ride the Chesapeake Bay bridge/tunnel. All of these locations providing ridiculous beauty to be able to revisit on my computer whenever I wanted to.I also looked at countless Youtube videos to ensure I understood the camera – including mounting it to a helmet. Goldwing Docs provided the best instruction for use of the camera. Each mount (curved and flat) worked perfectly on the two helmets I was taking with me on the trip and I let them sit for 30 hours or more. I thought I would only be able to use one of the mounts on a helmet and ensure that was the helmet I wore when recording, but the curved mount worked best on one helmet and the flat mount worked best on the other helmet. I checked each mount to ensure that their structure (flat or curved) worked appropriately before adding the adhesive to them.I also tried out the camera several times to ensure I knew how to work it once it was mounted on the helmet.Fast forward to the morning of the trip. My bike is located in a storage unit, so I transported my luggage and helmets via car to my bike. After loading my luggage I was about to put on my full face helmet when I noticed the Innovv mount was not on it – there wasn’t even a sticky area where the mount was placed. The other helmet had the mount intact. I was not happy because the helmet I was planning to wear most of the time (full face) lost the mount that felt like it was secure, so obviously this did not make me feel good. So, there I was about to enter the Smoky Mtns at Gatlinburg, TN. I put the half helmet on and loaded the camera onto it and got it set up on my phone. Because my faith had been lost due to the full face debacle, I was not sure I was actually recording once wi fi picked up. The red dot flashing next to the camera icon was confusing to me – to me flashing means PAUSE so I was not sure if I was recording and had no way of checking it.I could not find a card reader anywhere to check on a friends computer if I even recorded the immense beauty of the Smokies until I returned home from the trip. So, next issue – we are about to get on the Chesapeake Bay bridge/tunnel. I change helmets to put on the one that has the mount and I slide the camera mount part into the helmet mount part. Fortunately I was sitting down doing this in my lap because the camera mount part (with camera in tow) broke away from the helmet mount and fortunately the camera fell in my lap instead of on the ground where it would have probably broken. So, because I could not trust it falling as I was riding at least 40mph, I opted to not use it, thus missing out on a great visual experience to cherish. And because this happened, I decided to just not use the camera at all – which deemed it to be a waste of time and money and particularly wasted memories. Who knows when I will be able to travel 3000 miles round trip, seeing the sights I saw again and having a DIFFERENT camera brand that gives me confidence. So, my message to Innov:• Allow consumers to purchase additional curved and flat mounts as needed and ensure they stay in place• Supply clip-on mounts as an alternative to adhesive mounts• Flashing red dot is confusing. Ensure that the VERBIAGE states exactly how we know when recording is taking place (flashing dot is recording or paused?)• I lost wi fi but it recorded anyway which I am totally grateful for, but confused about.• The mount that holds the camera and slides into the helmet mount fell apart thus preventing me from using it – I did not want to take the chance of trying to fix it and have it fall off while I am on the bike.

Great helmet cam for the price
I purchased this helmet camera to replace my Drift Ghost 4K that was fried in the Texas sun. I ride a Yamaha XMax scooter (300cc so there is some Interstate mileage on it). I'm not a vlogger, I just have it for potential insurance purposes and so far it meets those needs. This is a really good camera, there are a few issues I will list in the pros/cons. The camera is plastic, so it's very light but it seems sturdy enough. Video playback is clean and you can easily make out details of signage/license plates.ProsBeing able to connect to battery pack, no longer restricted to a few hours of powerBigger memory card, a 512GB is supposed to be able to record for 24 hoursSetup of the camera to your phone is easyControls are real easy. You can feel it vibrate through gloves/helmet.Smaller video duration makes transfer/viewing easyConsHard to get level. It would be nice to be able to turn lens instead of having to adjust gimbal on the mount.Seems to frequently get stuck with horizon sloped. I've adjusted mine several times before my last long ride, but the image always seems to wind up on a slant. Maybe a slow gyroscope(?). See the two pictures I attached for examples.Despite the cons, I would highly recommend this camera for someone looking for an affordable alternative to other cameras on the market.

Buy this camera
After learning how to use this camera, this is the simplest one button camera.to use for video. The quality of video is amazing the long lasting battery is by far the longest of any camera on the market. At first I was skeptical especially for the price but far cheaper than a GoPro. INNOVV really outperforms all other cameras on the market for helmet cams.

The perfect camera
I don't have to worry about the battery because I plug it into the USB port on my bike. The H5 camera is so light that I don't feel any drag from the wind. It has a pivot mount that lets me rotate it 360 degrees, so I can adjust it to get the perfect angle. The video doesn't show my helmet at all and the view is always centered.
