Tiny, useable, low power desktop
Review is for the Quiter2Q, J4125 8Gb / 128Gb version.I bought this as a low power "daily driver" PC to avoid running a more powerful PC just to surf web etc.On receipt I gave it a quick check out, then fitted it out with a spare 256Gb Samsung NVMe drive. While trying to install a fresh copy of Windows 11 - I'd rather know it was built with entirely vanilla image from Microsoft media) - I found the device was hanging on reboot, but booting into audit mode and installing the missing drivers from Windows update fixed that problem. Other than that installation was straightforward. The PC activated with Windows 11 pro using the hardware license key.In use this is a really tidy, tiny, highly usable low-power PC. With the NVMe drive I can boot it and log in to desktop in ~25 seconds. It's responsive for everyday tasks, web browsing etc. WiFi connection is fast (802.11ac 5GHz). Built in audio is quite adequate to drive headphones, the in-built amp is actually pretty low noise. At idle the box uses just ~4W of power in total (see chart). The case feels slightly warm but certainly not what you'd call hot.I added the Plex desktop app and tried playing videos on my 2K monitor, it's definitely up to the task and playback is smooth, though there are some stutters if you open menus etc at same time, but totally usable as a media centre PC.Overall I'd definitely recommend!

Great mini PC for the price
I bought the MeLE Quieter3Q to replace an old Intel NUC that couldn't be upgraded to Windows 11.It seems a little faster than the NUC and is completely silent. It does run a little warm so I bought a heatsink to cool it but needed to cut it to fit.It would have been nice to see a custom heatsink that is designed to fit.

Here are my pros and cons
Great little mini PC. I'm evaluating itPros:- Silent- Reinstalling a fresh Windows copy is easy, product key is embedded on the BIOS- Installing M.2 SSD is easy, check the product spec for compatible modules.- Quick friendly support from MeleCons:- USB-C power input is not USB compliant and is for power only. Only works with the supplied PSU and not any USB charge capable of supplying 20V.- Runs HOT. I'm adding a heatsink to the case to prevent thermal throttling.

Struggle with installation but worth the time.
This mini computer is good at multitasking, features 8GB DDR4 SDRAM and 128GB eMMC storage.I use it mostly for basic web browsing, streaming video content from YouTube or Netflix, typing out documents in a word processor, viewing photos, managing files, etc.It can simultaneous display on dual screens through two HDMI ports.Love the small size. For a great price, I am able to process my videos and pictures with ease and comes with Windows 11 pre installed aswell. The speed is impressive even using Wi-Fi.Struggle bit with the installation, my partner did pretty much everything. For what I require this small PC does exactly what I need.Recommended 👍

Limited but a nice size
Gone are the days when you bought a cheap PC that was obsolete before you left the shop (to exaggerate slightly). Well, in theory. Nowadays, those of modest specification are still great for browsing or streaming music and likely to be so for several years and this is really where this mini PC comes in. It runs a bang up to date Windows operating system and it should cheerfully handle light duties for many years to come whilst being eligible for software updates.Having set it up and run it through my typical daily tasks I find it generally doesn't get in the way of what I want to do. I can browse, word process, play music and watch video. Windows 11 is undoubtedly a lot slicker than Windows 95. Shut down is still filed under start, seems some things never change, but otherwise it looks better than ever. However, I thought it worth seeing what else it could do. A basic PC should still be able to do a bit of video editing in 2022, shouldn't it? Yes it should. For kicks, I downloaded PhotoMosh Pro 12.0 to see if it could render some video effects my eight year old Mac mini can manage running on the same amount of RAM and cheaper to buy second hand can. It can't. I dropped a six minute 4K file into PhotoMosh on the new machine and it froze, whereas the aging Mac handled it without complaint. So this lil' computer really is for basic stuff. As you'd expect with a budget computer the storage is barebones but it's easily expandable and cheaply at that, via the SD port. The port consignment is generous overall and really all this might fall down on is the competition. I did a bit of shopping round and found similar spec for £50 less on a mini computer. However, 'similar' is not like for like and you may find this computer has a dinkier form factor and spec sheet that meets your needs more precisely. I think it's a respectable machine overall but I'd go for a more future proof processor or save my pennies.

Barely larger than a Smartphone
This is the smallest Mini PC I have ever seen. I was sceptical that it would switch off from overheating since it has no fan. I am happy that it operates fine for basic computing. So Office applications like Excel, Word and Outlook as well as web browsing run smoothly. It felt warm to the touch but never over-heated. I am operating it in a multi-monitor set-up, and the displays look brilliant. WiFi is fast, with no issues. The Bluetooth also works well. This is a good ultra-compact Mini PC just do not expect to run games or any resource-intensive applications.
