As a guy with thick, stubborn hair living in a city where a good hair day can make or break your morning, I’ve tried a lot of products. Most leave my hair looking crunchy or like I’m auditioning for a boy band reunion. But BluMaan Cavalier Clay? This stuff hits the sweet spot.First off, the hold is solid without looking overdone—like it’s saying, “Yeah, I try, but I’m not trying.” It gives my hair texture and volume while keeping it looking natural. The matte finish means no weird shine, which I appreciate since I’m not trying to blind people during meetings.The clay itself is thick but surprisingly easy to work with. I rub a small amount between my hands, warm it up, and apply—boom, hair that stays put all day without feeling like I’ve glued it down. Even with wind or bike rides through the city, my hair stays under control, and that’s no small feat.Bonus: It smells subtle and clean, not like a teenage locker room, and a little goes a long way, so the tub lasts forever.If you’ve got unruly hair that refuses to cooperate, BluMaan Cavalier Clay is your new best friend. It delivers confidence in a jar—just enough to feel like you own the day.

Definitely a strong hold! Only thing keeping this from a 5 star is that they recommend your hair being dry before application and I find this to be almost impossible to spread throughout your hair. I take a dab and apply a bit of water to it. Then with this consistency it’s a lot easier to spread though your hair.I recommend for anyone with thick hair that doesn’t like staying into place. It provides a really nice texture with out being greasy and keeps everything in place

It's crazy to say, but this really is the best hair product I've ever used. I really like the smell texture and hold of clay. However all the other "clays" I've tried to aren't real claims. Not that I'm an expert, but this actually is a clay. It's a little difficult to get out the tub(which I like), you have to work it into your hands and then it holds up your hair all day, which is exactly what I want.Side note-I feel like people have complained about other real hair clays, because of its firmness, and the companies ended up changing the to more of a paste or pomade. Blumaan has not= loyal customer base.

First of all, if you have heavy/thick hair, this product is a game changer. I've experimented with all sorts of cremes, waxes, gels, pomades, etc. and most have not been right at all for my hair type. I happened across this via an ad on Instagram, and at first I was skeptical, what with the majority of ads on social media being pure snake oil.. anyway, I digress. This feels light in my hair, to the point where after a few hours, I can't even tell it's there. It also doesn't look overly shiny or wet, so you won't end up looking like a 90's boy band member, so that's a bonus. Only con is this isn't cheap at $25 a tub. $18-20 would have been a bit more forgivable.

I really dislike the new packaging they switched to, it’s cheap and harder to get the product out. Does not smell particularly nice (smells like play-doh) but not really unpleasant. The hold is great, and I like the matte finish. But for $25 I won’t be buying again.

Upon opening the jar, I was met with a substance that felt more akin to dried-up mud than a hair styling clay. The texture was incredibly hard and dense, making it nearly impossible to work the product into my hair.Despite my best efforts to warm the clay between my palms and fingers, it remained stubbornly stiff and unyielding. Attempting to apply it to my hair felt like I was dragging coarse sandpaper across my scalp, which was not only uncomfortable but also ineffective in achieving the desired hairstyle.Furthermore, even after managing to apply the product, I found that it failed to deliver on its promise of providing texture and volume. Instead of enhancing the natural texture of my hair, the BluMaan Cavalier Heavy Clay weighed it down and left it looking limp and lifeless.To make matters worse, the hefty price tag of $25.00 only added insult to injury. Spending a significant amount of money on a hair styling product that proved to be virtually unusable was a frustrating waste of resources.In conclusion, I cannot in good conscience recommend the BluMaan Cavalier Heavy Clay to anyone in search of a reliable hair styling solution. Its terrible texture, inability to work into the hair, and lack of efficacy make it a regrettable purchase that falls short of its promises.
