I don't know why I waited so long to buy a silk pillowcase! I immediately washed it by hand and hung it in the sun to dry for the day (it's white). It is so soft for sleeping on! Delightful! Of course you need tha zipper, elsewise your pillow could work itself out. I did not find the zipper to be any bother (I was afraid I might). But the best thing about this is the reason I bought it - waking up with hair that is so easy to comb out! It just is not in the usual morning knotted mess. What a surprise the first morning, and then to see it is the same every next morning. I comb it smooth before bed, and out in the morning it is still mostly as smooth as when I went to bed - as to knots, that is; I still have bed head and don't wake up looking looking lovely like a movie, but it is noticeably tamer than my usual morning look.Being nearly knot-free in the the morning is important to me because I have fine hair and I always have breakage in the back. I want this to stop so I can have smooth (semi) long hair all around. I realize I am hardest on my hair in the morning when I hurriedly pull out the nighttime knots when I brush, and I have let this become a habit, and that is probably why I have breakage back there. I was reading blogs on fine hair care and they all recommend the silk pillowcase. I have heard it recommended before for skin so i finally got one, and I am so glad I did!

This is my second purchase of this product. I am very satisfied with it. It protects my hair and skin during sleep. I chose the standard size and it fits my Brookstone neck pillow very well. It compares favorably to much more expensive brands. Only caution is, wash it gently ( treat it like a silk blouse).

I bought this pillow case because I heard it was the best material for your hair and skin and the price seemed worth it for a truly high quality material. I couldn't tell you if it helped my skin/hair because I wanted to wash it when I took it out of the packaging; to my disappointment, it turned yellow after its first wash! I read the care label and washed it by hand with gentle detergent but it still turned yellow. I was desperate to whiten it and tried bleach (not supposed to do) and it looked even worse! I had to throw it away and I never even got to use it! Such a waste of money.

I love my pillow case. It feels luxurious and nice on the skin but I honestly don't see a difference with my hair or skin after using it for over a month.

I am very happy with my purchase. I have used it for several nights so far and can tell you it is soft, smooth and much more comfortable than my cotton pillowcases. Will certainly help for my sensitive skin. Very good product

Love these so. Never notice how great they are until I go to hotel and sleep on regular pillow case and wake up with crazy hair. They machine wash well and line dry quickly. Great quality for the price.

Glad I purchased this pillowcase. I really helps keep my hair from getting frizzy. Very good product. I hand washed it before I use it, and it drys very quickly. I love how it zips closed so it completely wraps around the pillow perfectly.

Nice quality and color. I don't have any complaints. Feel great and washing instructions are easy. I plan to buy more to rotate when mine is in the wash, and for others in the family.
