Good product. Even better packaging.
First of all, the flickering with gsync on gsync compatible monitor is not the cable’s fault. It’s a bug where free sync activate above a threshold and deactivate below a threshold. With that out of the way, this cable has solid build quality and does the job well. It also comes with caps and a box to protect the cable and it protects the head of the cable from any damage. See the picture I have attached. Also, someone mentioned that pin20 doesn’t have power pass through. So, no need to worry about DP cable frying your gpu.

Great Mini DP to DP cable
I connected this cable to my monitor and worked with no problems!!! I could finally activate G-SYNC on my Gigabyte M27Q, and it works great with no problems. Overall, a great quality cable.

The REAL deal. Hands down the best cables you'll find on Amazon!
OK, I've got 3 of these 31" LG 31MU97-B Digital Cinema 4k displays and they have notoriously sensitive inputs. Apparently Display Port 1.2 was pushing the limit trying to drive 4k DCI format (4096x2160p). Every other cable I've tried over the years has been touchy, flakey, what have you. The displays would flicker or supper from a momentary aberrant image, have challenges waking up from sleep and so on. I tried so many different cables all claiming to be effective (price was never a determining factor). And yet none of them ever provided a consistently stable image. At best I would get a great image with an occasional flicker every so often. Still infuriating.... Enter the Club3D CAC-1164.... What can I say? These damn cables are IT. They absolutely resolved all those problems upon first connecting them. I am supremely impressed with the apparent quality and CONSISTENCY of the cables. I would strongly recommend these cables to anyone needing to drive high bandwidth video. The best thing about them is that they are entirely reasonably priced. Very well done indeed Club3D.

My Hope seems lost - is it the cable???
I have a Gigabyte BrixVR PC with Nvidia GPU and I have a DELL P4317Q 43 inch 4K display. Randomly I have the screen Drop Out (disappear) and in a second or 2, it comes back and all is well. I've been plagued with this problem for the several years I have had this display. I'm hooked up via mini DP to standard DP connector and I've tried 4 to 5 different cables. The Dell provided cables have same issue. I've searched and searched and a recent tech article seemed to explain this very well. With renewed hope I searched for the best cable I could find in the DP 1.2 standard and I find this 1.4 cable rated for 8K 60Hz and thought it would be good. Sorry, the problem persists but admittedly perhaps with less frequency (it's farly random, hard to really tell). Dell has exchanged my display with a new one - same problem. If someone or some business could explain or provide a true solution, I WOULD PAY FOR IT! This particular cable might be just great. I'm doubting the PC is the problem and I'm doubting the display is the problem. I do not want to blame the cable but I'm tired of the problem. Oh - I've tried the display on a different PC with different cables and same problem. So, multiple displays, different PC's and different cables, same problem! Overall, the whole setup works great - but it's just that randomly, perhaps 6 to 10 times in a day, the display just goes blank and 1-3 seconds later it comes back and seems fine - VERY ANNOYING. Can I blame the cable - well, so far, it seems the most likely but like gas mileage, it seems your mileage may vary. I'm not alone from the various articles I have read out there either. The last article explains that the driver detects some issue with the cable (electrically), and resets the connection, reestablishes the handshake with the display and things are good but it seems to clearly (from a tech guy who does these high end setups for a living - hence, tending to be credible) not solve the problem. All equipment sits plainly on my desk and is connected to a properly grounded APC UPS etc. I hope the MFG of this 1.4 standard 8K high speed wiz bang cable reads this and somehow reaches me with a solution - AGAIN - I WOULD PAY WELL FOR THE RIGHT SOLUTION and or I would THANK SAID PERSON PROFUSELY. Can't tell I'm frustrated can you LOL - Have a great day. Oh, it is reasonable to add that this cable seems well constructed etc - looks good, packaged well etc. Ratings for 8K, so I expected perfection. Perhaps the Mini DP is crap and HDMI is the right way to go but the MiniDP are the 1st two ports on my PC and infer they are the primary. It has two more HDMI ports that I use for two smaller low res (HD) displays). I just cannot believe that all my equipment are all lemons. I would like to give this cable a perfect rating and I'd change my rating if only I could somehow get an answer that would actually help.

Higher quality than cheaper options
Cheaper cables cause flickering on my 8k monitor driven by dual displayport. These do not flicker. Only downside is that they are not available in a shorter length to minimize clutter.

Fixed my G9 Neo from cutting out signal on 120hz 8-bit color
I only have a 1070 GPU Laptop with 1.2 DP capability but this cable fixed my signal cutting out on my G9 Neo on 120hz that I got from another brand of cable of the same data capability (8k 60 fps - DP 1.4). Perhaps it's the VESA certification? Needless to say I'm going to be returning the faulty other brand and keeping this one.My computer can now output at 120hz 8-bit color at the native res. without issue - With hopefully the option to get to 240hz 10-bit color once I get a new computer that is DP 1.4 capable with display compression.

the real deal
i bought this to use with a LG flat screen monitor (lg 34uc79g-b) as i needed a mini dp to dp cord that could do 144hz. this cord does that. i was a bit worried because i hadn't heard of the company, but i am very satisfied with the purchase. i also like the fact that the pictures in the description have a graph that shows the compatibility with the cord and refresh rate with the resolution.

Not working well
The media could not be loaded. Went through 2 of these having connection issues with both. Went back with the provided cable from the monitor manufacturer and no issues

Easily outputs Dual WQHD+ @ 120Hz
Thick well made cabling with the power to push high resolution at 120Hz without issue. Not sure about the other review on here about durability, must be a faulty cable. This is plugged/unplugged multiple times daily and its been 2 months now with no problems whatsoever.

Needed to find a Mini Display Port (DP) to DP cable, for my external 1080p,144hz monitor. And the cable works perfectly! I'm now getting that sweet sweet 144hz, thank you! :)
