I bought it for the low price, but wish it was more damage resistant. I work in estate sales and some times the gun falls to the floor. A year in use and it broke to the tape hatch. I mended it with tape and it still works but wish it was as sturdy as the $90 guns.

It’s definitely cheap quality, it broke after dropping it once or twice, and only when I tried to replace labels. Currently trying to disassemble and fix, but going to have to order another one I guess…hesitant to buy a more expensive one but maybe it’s better. Must be the reason behind a subscription discount—should have been a tip off to me that I would have to keep ordering. It works well, just don’t freaking drop it or bump it hard on anything or it’ll be toast.Update: 12.09.24I ordered a new one, I dropped it one time and the ink roller completely fell out and broke. Haven’t tried to fix it, I just took my money to Uline—order direct, seriously this product is so cheap and now I’ve spent just as much on these crap products that I should’ve just ordered the Monarch to begin with. It’s more money but damn it’s way, way, way better quality. The perco lite feels like recycled material that should not be used for something like this. The inside is way too intricate to try and fix on your own when it does break.
