Great for the money
Yes, they are made in China. I cannot attest to the quality of the Chinese metal these are made of, as I have not completed metallurgical testing yet...HOWEVER, they feel substantial, have no defects in craftsmanship that I can see, and look/feel just like "name brand" tow hooks I ordered for my Jeep months ago. The pin threads are robust and seem to be cut with a modicum of precision. The metal feels substantial. The paint finish is uniform and seems to have been applied liberally.Until I have a chance to test these under load, I can't guarantee they won't break - but for my needs and what I may use them for (light occasional recreational off-roading with a relatively light TJ Wrangler) they are a pretty damn good deal.

The d-ring shackles screw in just fine and have the extra little "lock" turn at the very end of the tightening. I haven't had a chance to use them on the trail yet but they look good when test fitting on my ride! Very good fit and finish, solid threading, and they look great on my rig. I would suggest also getting some shackle protectors and anti-rattle covers.

Red to pink
They are strong, as they should be, but, they were a nice red when I got them, but with the Florida sun, they are changing to pink...

Very heavy duty, showed up very quickly, work exactly as expected. Paint looks great. I have multiple sets on different vehicles. Pulled many wenches through these and the paint holds up well. Live in Arizona and the sun doesn't seem to fade them. Perfect.

Great Value & Quality
Installed these on my 2017 F150. Quality seems good. Have not tried to load test them, but I deal with shackles on construction equipment and they have the weight and feel of what we see in the field.
