I have used and buried a few cutting mats in my quilting career. I bought Paragon's small mat just to see if their claims had any merit. I am sold! The markings are clear and useful on BOTH sides which automatically gives me double value of a very usable cutting mat. Also, the e-book is excellent for learning how to correctly use the mat and keep it in tip top condition, extending its life for even more bargain.

This is a superior cutting mat! Once you air it out (new "mat" smell), it's fully functional. I would highly recommend this line of mats over paper and clear plastic pliable mats. It is obvious that this company takes great pride in their product and it shows with the support paperwork and customer service accessibility.

ok, well I just received my mat today...aweome, quite literally. I used this with my manual die cutting machine as the plexiglass plates for these machines not only are pricey but dont last 5 minutes, anyway I saw online that people are using self healing cutting mats instead of the plates, so I thought well why not try it out. I purchased this brand of self healing mat....AWESOME, I dont need to shim it up to get my dies to cut with perfection, after I used it I looked at this mat....not a single cut in sight, not one, its like a new kind of magical material. its duel sided too, so I can flip it. i'm going to buy more of these. the main reason I think these work so well with die cutting machines is because they are flexible so the mat seems to press into the die cut better, there are no spots where the die didn't cut at all and as I mentioned earier, not a cut in site on the mat itself, I used it several times too. to say i'm more than pleased is an understatement. it got to the point with the cutting plates for the machines that even new I was having to shim up my plates to get them to cut the dies evenly. I can even use thicker cardstock on the machine now that wouldn't even go through with the plastic plates.So thank you this mat is now going to save me a lot of dollars. and I will be purchasing the bigger mats too.

It seems like it'll work well, but the large warning included in the package that states the product is known to cause cancer and the funny smell of the product gives me pause. I washed it with soap and water as it recommends and hoped it would reduce the chemical smell but it did not. So I guess its up to each individual as to what is important, but it seems like a good quality pad.

I do a lot of sewing and cutting, so this is my 2nd mat, the 1st one from this company and the 1st that is double sided.No problem with receiving the item, but it came packaged in a flat box, and "stood up". Website mentioned that it would be sent in a roll, and then to just lay it flat to smooth it out. So when I received it flat but stood up, I wasn't expecting terrible difficulties in getting it flat. Hmmm. I laid it flat for about 4 days, and then placed a few weights on the 2 curves; that still didn't flatten out. I then went and put it in the sun for about an hour. That started to work, but will have to do it again and for a bit longer.So, yes, I love the fact that it is double sided, and it appears to be everything as advertised, but packaging and/or delivery leads me to put this down as only 4 stars.

Love this cutting pad. I purchased this for my die cutting machine and it's perfect! The thickness replaces the lower cutting plate and the dies really don't leave any marks. If the dies do, then I flip the pad over and use the other side, leaving the first side to heal. I am deeply impressed with these cutting pads and will order more when, or if, I need them. The pad size (6x9) is perfect for my Spellbinders Platinum die cutting machine!!! I use a sandwich of cutting pad, paper, die and plastic plate. It works perfect every time , even on intricate dies. I HIGHLY recommend these cutting pads for anyone who wants to use them instead of the plastic plates offered by the manufacturers. It's a win-win in my book!

By far, the most phenomenal self-healing cutting mats I have ever used or owned. I purchased two of them and put them to the test in the last couple of days prior to writing this review; I can see no cuts marks on either mat. Another thing I've found making these mats a clear standout is the visual contrast between the very intense yellow and green. Measuring and cutting are unbelievably easier because of that contrast.Lastly, these mats have steller ruler guides, far more so than I've seen on any other mat. If that's not enough, they are printed on both sides unlike some of the other larger mats and have a 100% lifetime guarantee. Based on how heavily I have used them the last two days and see zero cut marks, I expect them to last with zero problems. I am thrilled with my purchase. (Oh, I noticed no smell. If I did at ALL, it smelled like Play-Doh).

Amazing. Does heal itself, almost immediately. Smooth even cutting. Way better than flat, hard cutting surfaces. No mistakes. Better than Major Brand cutting boards. I highly recommend this product. Love it!!
