True Blood : Music From The HBO Original Series Volume 2

Hey there ! I was a big fan of True Blood for the first four seasons or so, so I love the music and I'm sure that the music continued to be great for the rest of the show. But man I love this music! The music on the soundtracks are great, it is always fun original and these are great songs so I definitely recommend it to anybody who loveed the show or didn't like the show the songs are just great no matter what! Thanks

For years, I've been purchasing music as artist specific compilations. But after really liking a series of music, (I think it was the Juno soundtrack that did it for me), I started collecting them. I say, let others put serious thought into an artist compilation for you. No! but I like about 80% of them. And to me that's more than worth it. I can't image the time it would take to have been exposed to the variety that is here. And I love discovering new musicians.

The whole reason I bought this CD was so that I could have the cover song that Jace Everett and CC Adcock sing "Evil is Going On". I fell in love with it when I first heard it on an episode of True Blood and I couldn't wait to buy it so I could listen to it on full blast in my Mustang. The way those guitars rock and the sound of Jace Everett's voice just goes right through me, puts me in another world. Love it.

A great album, but the track from Headbone is only on the Deluxe edition. Both have the same cover artwork, and I mistakenly purchased the standard version, to my huge disappointment.However, the deluxe edition does contain explicit lyrics, so if you're shopping for a kid...wait, you let your kids watch True Blood? Never mind, swearing isn't your biggest problem.

I am a true fan of TrueBlood! I like the songs on this CD. They have that dark theme like the series. The sound ranges from the New Orleans type sound to country music and rock. It's great for people with various music interests like me.

Loved the songs, but the CD started skipping after only a few plays.

Great music.....great series.....will be a Christmas present.

A good compilation of music that you might not otherwise buy though I did not like everything, which I find usual for a compilation. A good CD for the car and a good reminder of why the closing credits on True Blood possibly got watched more than closing credits usually do for a TV programme.

Most tracks that you expect from the series....some missing but can't complain really.
