Noticeably more comfortable shave than with cheaper replacement heads. I tried one of the more expensive knock-off replacement heads - did not cut as nicely as these do. Well worth the extra cost.

Expensive as original equipment manufacturer (OEM) product but the best quality replacement shaver heads. If you invest in a quality Philips shaver, it is best to install original quality parts that last and perform optimally.

Apparently, the Norelco 9000 series razors have 2 generations for the razor head shape. Gen 1 is round and Gen 2 is the pentagon shape.BUT, regardless of generation, both apparently have the same round razor heads.Who knows why the marketing folks would show the Gen 2 razor head when what they are selling works for either generation. And, it is only the 3 round heads and the 3 round guards!!!!What has changed is JUST the round razor guard and the round razor head (set of 3) come in this package. It no longer contains the whole razor head or the top piece (which holds the razor heads).What you will keep when switching out your old heads for the new are the top holder for the razor heads and the guards (mine were metal and twist off and on).Confused? I was. Why would the picture show parts that are in the box AND parts that are no longer provided?????I have used this product for a week and can attest it works great!I have had my Norelco 9000 series for 5-6 years and this has to be the 3rd replacement for the razor heads. I was so frustrated with Norelco because this series is very pricey--much more expensive than any of the prior ones I have used in my nearly 50 years of shaving. And no longer includes the parts they have included for decades (top blade holder and the locking rings to secure the razor heads)....Hopefully Norelco will keep this replacement part in stock for many years!!!

Tengo una afeitadora Philips S9311 y últimamente sentía que el corte no era muy bueno. Verifiqué y las últimas cuchillas las había reemplazado hacía unos 2 años y medio. Obviamente al colocar estas nuevas cuchillas el corte es más suave y mejor; el tiempo de afeitado se redujo como a la mitad.El principal inconveniente es el precio; sé que Philips recomienda cambiar cada 12 meses las cabezas, pero con este valor toca llevar las cuchillas casi a su fin de vida útil; en mi caso es 2 años largos. Sé que hay otras marcas a menos de la mitad de precio pero normalmente las opiniones indican que no duran tanto, no cortan bien o son ruidosas; por lo anterior prefiero quedarme con las originales.

I have a 9000 series, and needed to replace the blades, been putting it off for too long, the thing was just tearing the whiskers instead of cutting. The price difference between "philips norelco sh90/72 replacement heads" and these norelco SH91's seemed to be too much, but the poor reviews of the SH90 replacements and the warnings that they were NOT the same as what was shipped with the razor made me choose these. They definitely fit in the 9000. I did need to use a bright light and magnifying glass, there is an indent in each side of the foil that lines up with the indents on the orange retainer ring so you have to drop both the foil/blade assembly AND then the orange retaining ring into the holder by first lining up the indents with the bumps in the holder so they fit. do that and they drop right in and the retainer will click into place to lock it. The razor cuts better than when it was new. I suspect norelco is making a ton off of these blades, but they are so much better than the current SH90 replacements that you must do it, or just toss the razor and buy a brand new one.

These are replacement heads for the 9000-series Norelco Shavers. I replace the heads every 6 to 9 months. They don't last forever. Every couple of days I put just the head and cutter assembly under the hot water in the bathroom sink. I let it dry for 8 hours on a paper towel. Once a month I carefully take the cutters apart and run them under the hot water and carefully scrub with a very soft tooth brush. I then reassemble the head. You must keep the matching cutter pieces together. If you swap them it will take awhile for the heads to re-hone themselves. Do not get the thing that holds the cutter head assembly wet! Water gets into it, makes a mess, and starts to smell and make bad noises.

This is nothing like the original shaving heads that came with the machine. The quality feels cheap, the performance is terrible, and it leaves irritation after shaving. Worst part? When I contacted support, they told me there’s no warranty on these. For a product marketed as “genuine,” this was a huge letdown. I’ve used Philips for years, but this experience really shook my trust. Don’t waste your money.
