EVanlak Type-C Display Emulator(Headless Ghost)

I plugged two of these in to my machine and it works exactly as it should. My concern is about thermal management. These got so hot after about 20 minutes that it hurt to touch them. Like a hot potato right out of the oven. You can touch them for a brief second without getting burned but any longer than that and you are going to be in a lot of discomfort. I would suggest using a silicone hot pad to pull them out comfortably. I worry how long these will last running at that high of a temperature. In my use case they are only plugged in for a couple of hours at a time so I think they will be ok. If you are using them for a server environment, or some other continuous use then you might want to think about adding some sort of direct cooling to them.

I bought it to use with my laptop. It allows me to cast an extended dummy screen on my TV. The item works as advertised. However, the dongle does get really hot to the touch. The components of the dongle are enclosed. Maybe they could have put tiny vents on it to let a little heat escape.
