This is a great tool! I saw a commercial about it and decided that was for me! I am almost 65 with orthopedic problems so, running or getting away from an “incident” would be virtually impossible. My daughter gave me some mace for protection. However, if I was being robbed, taking the time to get it out of my purse let alone FIND it....well, I probably wouldn’t stand a chance. When I accidentally hit my purse (IN my car), the alarm sounded and I found out exactly HOW loud it was when the Pocket Gardian sounds! Luckily, I have not needed to use it yet, but am very thankful I have it. And, I was so impressed I got three more! One for my gun toting, knife wielding, mace packing daughter as well as my two Senior Citizen best friends! My daughter said, “Thank you” and one of my elderly (lol) friend’s husband, along with my friend of course, “really appreciated such a thoughtful gift”. My other childhood bestie hasn’t gotten hers yet but I expect the same kind of positive comment. One last thing. As many women, teenage girls and even young girls are victims of crime on a daily basis in the country, I believe ALL females should have a POCKET GUARDIAN with them in case of emergency! Oh! And, certainly not to descriminate, males are also victims and I would think carrying one of these gadgets would be good for them, too! Thanks again for listening and for a great product. :)

I took two of these items to South Africa with me and put one on my bag and carried one in my pocket. However, accidentally the one in my pocket fell out and set itself off as I guess as it hit the ground it jolted the safety button on the side of it. I can tell you I was nearly deafened by it in the restroom and it was a good test of it for me as I had not tested it prior to leaving home. I think it is a MUST to test it before going out with it. Pull out that stop in and see how good it is. The only issue I have now is finding the replacement batteries for it. I ask myself if it is cheaper to buy six new batteries at $4 a piece or is it cheaper to buy two new units. Anyone know of any supplier of these small batteries please? On the other hand could I use a bigger battery for the unit instead of three small ones?

I gave one to a young lady who gets off work at 2:30 am and has to walk to a bus to get home. A week after I got a nudge to give one to her, she was followed on the way to the bus stop by a man in a car. He stopped beside her and opened his door so she pushed the alarm button and he drove away quickly and she said people came out of their homes! I hate to even think what may have happened if she hadn't had this little life saver.I am so grateful I had seen this on FB and bought several to give out to women I know. Everyone, man or woman should have one. Maybe if we scare the bad guys off we would have less murders, rapes and violence altogether.

The device is loud, but I have an issue because the button for the light looks exactly the same as the button for the alarm. If you need the light in the dark and can't see how do you know which button to push? You definitely don't want to push the alarm button by mistake. I purchased this over the more attractive one because this one had the light.

This is very loud and works great but the battery didn’t last as long as I thought it should, it maybe lasted about three months. So just be Cautious with that I would buy extra batteries to have on hand just in case

Really think this product is going to help out a lot of women and single mothers. I hate feeling like I have to always watch my surroundings especially when I’m with both kids and feel so distracted. Never want to have to use this but feel like this will definitely be a life saver. Thank you so much

I gave these as a gift to the young ladies at Bridgehaven, where I volunteer. They all are using them, as well as myself. This will give us more confidence, when we walk into a business and departing the business too. A good protection in case of an emergency or a call for "help." I think all females need them, as well as guys too. Thanks for your product.
