love it-great for camping, real hella quality
when i saw this "budget" hella light i was not sure what i was buying. because big brand lights do not come cheap, but i mounted it as a camping light on the roof rack of my Jeep and it is GREAT. the flood pattern is very good, the light is bright but not too bright. i had quite a few non big brand lights and they were ok...but this light really does make a difference. just dont forget that this is a FLOOD light.

Nice replacement or extra light - no quick connect plug
Overall this is a great replacement or extra light. I had a faulty bolt on one side that would not tighten fully but the light itself is nice quality and extremely bright. I also have not experienced any issue with water intrusion which occurs on cheaper off-road lights. I would recommend this product.Important Note: Unlike the set of 2 lights with the wiring harness, this single version does not come with a quick connect plug, it is just this red and black wire.Thank you

Ordered two. Received both. Note that this is for a light only, with the mounting bracket. Another reviewer said that connectors were included with the kit. My order included no connectors.Nuts and bolts are all marked A4-70 which is stainless steel.Hella claims 12 Watts but I suspect there is some specsmanship going on here. Using a benctop power supply, current times voltage shows and input power of 6 to 7 watts, so Hella LEDs must be about 200% efficient. Both lights measure the same.The brightness is okay. Pattern is flood with a center hot spot. Build quality seems solid for the price. Overall they will do but they are not retina roasters.

Well built - but the details about the light included in the package are very sparse.
So I love the build quality of this light, and I love the fact that they put a nice wiring harness on it which is water/dust resistant. The issue I had was that I did not want to chop this connector off to install it and the instructions did not indicate what kind of harness it was. I called the seller and no luck. OK, not only no luck, but I got transfered around so I waisted my time talking to two of the least qualified parts people I have ever encountered. I called Hella a few times, and finally got lucky and found someone who told me it was a two pin deutsch connector where pin number 1 was positive.
