Great inexpensive linear actuator
I will say that I got exactly what I was looking for, an inexpensive linear actuator that is all aluminum, has eccentric nuts, and is adjustable. Yes, I did need to adjust the eccentric nuts and the anti-backlash block but this is to be expected. I did not want to use a Nema 23 with this as I do not have one so I 3d printed a Nema 17 mount. I was thrilled that I found another linear actuator identical to this one and it had the specifications for the upper and lower plates. This provided me with the information needed to design and 3D print a Nema 17 stepper mount prior to the arrival of the linear actuator. The unit was received in one day and since the stepper adapter had been printed and ready to be used the total setup time was about an hour. The linear actuator kit is as rigid and as sturdy as you can expect aluminum parts to be.I later purchased some NEMA 23 stepper motors for my CNC and designed an adapter for them as well. Both the NEMA 17 and NEMA 23 3D print files have been uploaded to Thingiverse and to Printables, search '4080U'.

Worked Great on mt XTool D1 Pro 20
I used this to add an extended z axis to my laser by xtool. It worked exactly as I thought it would and recommend this product to anyone looking to do the same as i did. I wanted the ability to adjust the z axis while the laser is running, and it worked great.
