Hard review to write. I bought this for my mother in law along with many other items to help her ... so she only got to use it a few times before Cancer took her. She seemed to like it. It was also recommended to me by two cancer survivors who knew I was trying to help ensure my mother in law had a good quality of life, regardless. Product worth trying. If you are reading this and you or someone you love needs help try this. I hope it helps.

What an amazing lotion
During my radiation treatment I searched high and low for a great lotion that was comforting and not greasy. This is exactly what I needed. Even though I am finished with my treatment, I still continue to use this product on a daily basis. I also have psoriasis and find this smooths my hands and completely takes away the dryness. I would highly recommend you give it a try

The cream is old! Can't squeeze it out of the bottle!
Extremely disappointed, I can barely get the cream out of the bottle it is so thick. I presume I recieved old stock? This product came highly recommended as I am undergoing radiation treatment.I followed up by calling the manufacture they are aware of the problem and could care less, they told me if I was unhappy to deal with Amazon!I agree with the review that said it hurts to apply over skin that is sensitive do to radiation.I would seek a better alternative, there is a lot on the market

Too thick for radiation burned skin.
I bought this to use on my husband who is taking radiation to his chest. The lotion is so thick h had a hard time getting it out of the bottle. It is so thick that as his burns got worse it hurt to much to spread it on his chest. Probably works well for regular irritated skin but would not recommend for radiation burns as it says.

It's OK, has an odor, is very thick & sticky feeling.
The lotion is thick and creamy, and all ingredients look amazing, however.....the smell is almost unbearable. I added Lavender & Tea Tree oils to help the odor, but this lotion is by no means "unscented"! It has a very earthy-odd scent that I just have a really hard time with! I had to put Vicks under my nose so I could go to sleep at night with the stuff on my skin! One other item....as radiation continues (I'm only in the 1st week) the skin is supposed to get MORE sensitive; at my Dr's they actually gave me a nice gel that is for during my treatment & it's truly non-scented and it glides on a LOT easier than this lotion/cream. I'm thinking that later on if the skin gets sensitive (like a sunburn) this lotion would actually HURT to put on. As a note: before summer I ordered some Seven Minerals Aloe Vera Gel, which is AMAZING stuff, and I think it'll come in handy for radiation treatment too! It works great on sunburns and is on Amazon, no xantham preservative, uses seaweed. GREAT stuff!!

Worked great for radiation therapy!
This cream worked great! It wasn’t too thin or too thick, absorbed very nicely and did not get on my shirt collar. I used it on my neck after radiation and I noticed when I didn’t use it, my neck would be red. I recommend this highly!

It works!
I send this to my brother whonis goingbon chemo. On his first chemo his skin was like fish scales (as he described) and after he apply this product, he was amazed how his skin got better than his skin even before his chemo treatment. At first he did like it as it has no fragrance, but thats even better and he loved it now.

Works well
This lotion works well, goes on smoothly, penetrates quickly and definitely seems to be working. It does have a rather herbal smell...not necessarily bad, just not a perfume type of smell that many lotions have. So depending on what you are used to, the lack of scent additives might be a off putting to some. My husband, the patient, does not mind the smell. That was my initial worry when I first opened the lotion because smells can trigger nausea, so far we have not had a problem.
