I'm not sure it was better than the horseshoe neck pillow, but it works well enough. I highly recommend watching the video of how to attach it to the seats. If you try to figure it out on the plane, you will regret it most assuredly. It is not an intuitive install.

So confusing to use. By the time you're done setting it up, you're strangled and people hate you on the plane

I got this pillow because I wanted something different than the traditional one that wraps around your neck, this design is amazing! You do have to read the instructions otherwise it tends to be a little tricky just going off of sight.  After reading instructions it's really easy, they even provide a link for a how to video. I used it in my car, after which it became a fight on who got to use it next. It's very versatile, my 9 year old and 8 year old are able to adjust it easily to fit them too.  The pillow is good quality fabric so it's like sleeping on a luxurious Hotel pillow. It's very easy to clean with just a wipe of a wet cloth. The carrying case is great for keeping it stored without getting all tangled and mangled.  Definitely something that's staying in the car for easy anytime use. My boys have gotten so much use as they always seem to fall asleep after school and this helps from getting a kink in their necks.

I purchased this to use on an international flight. The frustrating thing was I purchased it 3 months ago and haven't flown since missing an opportunity to return it.It was awkward, not easy to use, it kept slipping off, and if someone has a TV in the seat behind you it completely bothers them. I definitely WOULD NOT purchase this for a plane, the other reviews seem to show it works much better for car travel.

I saw a guy using this type of pillow and later I searched on Amazon and found it . The pillow is really small and light. I recently tried this while flying on a flight and I must stay I'm pleased. It supports your back and neck very generously. I would suggest everyone to read the instructions manual very carefully as it might get a little tricky to install. The packaging and shipping both were nicely done. You also get a pouch to store the pillow. Overall, a nice experience.

Very uncomfortable. Hard to figure out how to attach it to the chair, and it seemed to hurt my neck more than anything.

I bought this for a long international flight. I tried it out on a long car ride to test it before my upcoming trip and I loved it. At first I thought it was going to be complicated to install but it was simple. I combined it with a neck pillow and I was able to fall asleep without my head bobbing at all. I really think that it will work great on my flight.
