Q: Is it good for basketball?

If you are a physical player it is VERY good for basketball. I am a point gaurd and I tend to drive a lot. I get hit hard by bigger guys trying to take it to the hole. I almost tore the labrum in my hip from getting hit and landing hard on the ground so many time. I have not had this issue at all since i bought these these. They have been very protective.

Hello, Based on our sizing chart, you will likely want to go with her true to waist measurement (which would be a small). The Shorts are made of as stretchable material that will likely accommodate the hip area. If you order too large you run the risk of a loose fitting waist which would be a bigger issue.
