Perfect for protecting your paint project
My go to for finishing miniatures that have been painted to protect them

Great true matte finish!
I make clay miniatures with polymer clay and use this matte finish to seal my work. This is my second order of this stuff. It works awesome. It's truly a matte finish and dries within several minutes. I can never tell that my pieces have had anything applied and that's the true test for me as polymer clay bakes to a matte finish. My only gripe is that I only need a tiny bit to seal things and the dropper top always pushes out way more than I need. It's kind of hard to control. But even so, the little bottle lasts a long time if you're using it for small things. This is a trusted brand so don't hesitate to purchase!

I like how work for me that varnish

VG flat varnish
Nice varnish, works well on figures and models, dries fast and flat and easy to apply. Acrylic so you can thin it a bit if desired. Protects paint and touch up goes on nicely.

Good quality, but pricey
I used this Matt Varnish (wish Vallejo spelled Matt Matte) as a brush on to seal a miniature figurine. I used two coats, letting the first coat dry completely. The varnish looks invisible to me - doesn't blur or darken the paint job, no brush strokes, the dried texture is nondescript, and allows me to handle my mini with no smudges or flaking. The cost per volume is higher than other varnishes, but other reviews and forums convinced me to purchase. I paint tabletop miniatures, so the price is justifiable to me. If I painted armies (large quantities), I might buy another brand.

Nice but
Itβs good and it works nicely but the bottle is too small, we need a bigger bottle for the price ππ»

Useful for weathering of models
The range of application for this product is somewhat limited on my side, by a stubborn refusal to acquire an airbrush. It is further limited by the lack of need to protect models during handling - i.e. as a final coat for Wargaming pieces. This leaves for myself, a brushable product, thinned with water or rubbing alcohol, for use in setting powdered weathering pigments or mixing the same to apply lightly thinned for mud effects - in which case this product excels. In any application, whether used thinned or straight, the final look will be unalterable. However, subsequent coats of pigment mixed with this varnish, or dabbing dry pigment onto the wet varnish, gives further option to the modeler.

I'd recommend diluting it a fair bit and apply very thin ...
This has worked well so far but I think I might have preferred a little bit more instructions on what consistency the varnish should be. I thinned it down quite a bit since it came out fairly thick and white out of the bottle and I felt applying it with that much would end up with that milky residue result I've had from sprays. Overall I prefer this over the sprays since it allows me with a bit more control. I'd recommend diluting it a fair bit and apply very thin layers but plenty of them until you achieve the desired results.
