Taste and quality
The taste was surprisingly good. You can use it in the same amount as sugar and it does not have calories. Not much more to ask for I think.

Tastes like sugar
Tastes as good as sugar - I like that it’s made of birch instead of corn and that it’s made in USA.

The best brand I've tried ...
Pros- This is as close to sugar as you can get and there is no aftertaste like Stevia and other sweeteners. This particular brand has smaller crystals and is much easier to break down and 'melt' into your drinks and food then some of the other brands I bought.I suffer with Candida Overgrowth, so I appreciate this is made from birch trees and not corn. This is the only kind of Xylitol I can ingest.I've had no side effects with this product, as reported by some reviewers when it comes to Xylitol products. Keep in mind though, I only use small amounts on a daily basis as I cannot afford To use this product for baked goods; therefore I have to avoid them altogether.:( When I say small amount, It's generally 1 to 2 teaspoons a day for my mint tea, and occasionally 3 to 4 if I have a bowl of oatmeal that day. For those of you just starting out, I would start with half a teaspoon to a teaspoon a day and work your way up.Con- there's really only one, and that is the price. Wow! This stuff is SO expensive. If I didn't have candida overgrowth, I would never buy it. this is by far more expensive than organic sugar, coconut sugar, and a lot of the other Sugar substitutes on the market, including Xylitol made with corn. What, are birch trees made from gold? It makes me wonder ...That said, it's a five-star product, but only worthy of four stars because of the price. I will continue to buy it as long as I can afford it because of my special dietary needs. I do appreciate there's a natural Sugar substitute out there I can use.

Great Product
I love that Xylitol has a glycemic index of only 7, compared to 54 for table sugar and 65 for maple syrup.

Zveet Birch Xylitol Sweetener
I've used this product for several months now and have been very satisfied with it. To me, it has a truer taste of sugar than any of the other sugar substitutes. No after taste left in your mouth no matter to what you add this sweetener to; and I've used several of those other products. This one by far has a taste more like sugar than any other one.
