Inval America ES 3203 Office Desk, Laricina White

Package arrived in terrible shape (UPS driver said he picked it up in this condition). Box was falling apart. Pieces were falling out, and the UPS guy handed me a few small parts that fell out in his truck. Thankfully the only thing that is missing is one little black/metal screw thingy. Important, yes, and will have to find replacement. The directions weren’t very clear and it took me a good while to put it together. And, the lock doesn’t work. It won’t turn at all. I bought the desk because of the lock. Disappointing. Oh and before buying, I asked if the file drawer was big enough to hold files front to back or side to side.. someone answered and said front to back. That is not accurate. They go side to side in the drawer. It is sturdy. It looks nice. But it was a bear to put together and the most important feature (lock) doesn’t work.

This desk is beautiful; but to get to beautiful you have to make it past the directions which are not exactly detailed. There was quite a bit of guess work involved but in the end the desk will do. It’s sturdy but the drawers catch sometimes and a few of the pieces did not line up correctly. Overall the desk works.

I like this desk. The finish is flawless, all parts are in the box. Anyone who can turn a screwdriver can assemble this desk. I am 85 years old so it took me about 10 hours including breaks and naps. I only needed assistance to stand it up when assembled: no one section is heavy. The direction are mostly pictures and are easy to follow if you pay attention. I can’t imagine anyone not being able to do this.

It is pretty strong, and not bad on the looks, but very easy to hurt yourself. My daughter has had multiple scratches from moving her chair. She is no longer allowed to sit without pants on. (really) If they guard that area, it would be okay. Please be careful.

Nice top and good amount of space to keep schoolwork, the locking drawer is a plus to keep username/password list secure.Amazon helped with an issue on delivery.

Very happy with the quality of this desk for the price. My daughter uses it all the time for her home work. It was easy to put together and I would recommend it to anyone.

Several of the pieces are dinged up and it is dinged up bad on the top. had to glue one piece together. We are both handicapped and could not get it back in the box. it is not white, it is ivory with brown in it to look like wood grain. I do not mind the color but we are not satisfied with a dinged up desk. I would not recommend it. instructions are very confusing.

I looks very nice. The color is NOT white. It is yellowish gray. Is is sturty . The regular drawer glides are not very good. The paint has globs and you have to clean then off before installing. If I paid more than this I would be very unhappy. It is true, You get what you pay for. Look around this desk on other sites can be a hundred dollars plus shipping more.
