Q: Could this be used for making pillowcases?

Yes, it's not as lightweight as most, but it softens after a few washing. I used it for lining masks.

Q: is this thick or thin? I need a little stiffness. Does it need a lot of ironing?

It was just right stiffness for pillow inserts—crocheted. I did not need to iron at all. A little bit like a man’s dress shirt. Mine was white.

I used it to make a quilt. I love this fabric and the color. Very easy to work with

Yes, it is very thin. I would not recommend as a screen
