Zadro Lighted Makeup Mirror 10X Magnification LED 11" Dia Makeup Mirror with Lights and Magnification C Battery Operated

I purchased this for my wife so that she'd be able to use it in a bathroom where no outlet is accessible. She says that it provides plenty of light, the magnification is perfect for applying makeup and the quality is superb. It's also nice that the mirror can be used with either the included AC power cord or batteries.The strangest thing about this mirror is that nowhere on the box does it state what type of batteries to use. It's not until you open the carton that you find out that the mirror/light takes 4 "C" batteries. Also, for anyone who's interested, the manufacturer states that under normal usage conditions, a set of batteries should last at least 1 year.The bottom line is that this appears to be a well made product, it produces plenty of light, and has the perfect amount of magnification. I think that most people will be pleased with this item.

Love this mirror. It looks great and I was SO tired of the ugly plastic light-up mirrors, this looks great on my dressing table with my silver photo frames around it. It works really well. I will add that 10x magnification is ALOT and I really only use it for my brows, or to double-check my eye make up once it's on. If you try to apply your makeup on the magnifying side it will take a LONG time because you can only see a small portion of your face at a time! So for tweezing brows or checking eyeliner, etc. it works well. The lighting is good and just what I needed, very true light. Great product.

Great looking mirror, LED lights are bright, and I like the choice of batteries or the outlet plug. The 10x magnification side is too much, not very useful.

Like others who posted here, I loved this mirror until the fatal "click" when I rotated the mirror and it just stopped working. I have not pursued, yet, contacting the company, but so far have found no information on how to fix it, replacement parts, etc. I received the mirror in August 2015. It broke in mid-June. Not worth the investment. Search on!

I love this mirror. You can plug it in or go cordless. The light is not too bright, not too dull! The 10x magnification side really helps you see every little thing! My whole family loves this mirror! I am very happy with this mirror!

I would like to tell you that this mirror is great, and it actually was a really nice mirror before it stopped working exactly 1 month after the "limited manufacturer warranty" expired. I wouldn't encourage anyone to spend close to $100 for a vanity mirror if it only works for 4 months. I bought this to replace a Revlon lighted mirror that I had for 20 years, which still actually works and I am currently using again while I am STILL waiting on a reply from Zadro customer service from a week ago regarding the faulty mirror. I never dropped or misused this mirror in any way. I did opt to use the ac plug as it was being used at my vanity for makeup and grooming purposes. I was applying makeup one evening and simply turned it from regular to the magnifying side and heard a "click" noise and the light died. I attempted to unplug and replug the power cord, tried to use with the batteries, even changed the batteries, but to no avail nothing helped. Now I have a very expensive non working mirror and apparently Zadro doesn't believe in timely responses to their customers. Should they decide to follow up on my email I will update this review, but as of now I am in no position to recommend this mirror to anyone. A lighted makeup mirror should last longer than 4 months.Update 03/18/2017: Zadro did indeed honor a replacement of this product even just outside of the warranty time listed on the initial instructions/paperwork. I did get the replacement in a timely manner. I do love the magnification this mirror offers, especially when tweeting my eyebrows. And the light output is pretty nice, I'm changing my rating from 1 star to 3 stars, as I was impressened that the company honored my warranty request and replaced my mirror. Since my original purchase broke because of normal use, I have been and will continue to be very mindful about how I use this mirror, I no longer turn the lighted circular mirror from one side to the other the way it was designed and intended to be used, simply because I don't think it's a perfected design. How can you expect a device that is flipped around continually not to have internal wiring eventually break? Therefore I just simply turn the entire stand around, so yes when I use the magnified side I have the cord facing me. I don't run this on batteries because even fresh batteries do not provide enough power for this mirror to light up to its full strength, there is a noticeable difference in the brightness when using battery power instead of the cord. And the second reason I'm not giving it a higher rating is because the plug for the cord is loose inside the casing and the lighting strength can fade a bit with just the slightest movement. The overall look of this mirror is great, should Zadro continue to manufacture this particular model, they have a few issues to address. I do like this mirror but it's far from perfect as far as the internal mechanics are concerned. I would like to be able to flip that mirror around as it's intended to be used but I have no desire to have it break in the same manner as it did before. So I'm handling it with great care as to not have the same initial problem occur again. Covered warranty or not it's an annoyance to ship this thing back for warranty.

This mirror has been heaven sent! I previously ordered another brand and it completely broke after less than a month! Took a chance on this one and LOVE it! I don't utilize the cordless feature often because the light gradually dimmed (from battery use) over time. I found it better to just keep it plugged in at all times for maximum lighting. Very well lit, love the swivel, and magnification is PERFECT for any makeup junkie!
