Ice Buster Walk Behind Salt Spreader

Do not buy this product as it is poorly designed from the get go. Once you start spreading the salt out the gear mechanism gets jammed from the incoming salt from above. Other units have their gears protected in a casing. This one is exposed to the open air. Big mistake. So, incoming salt grains get stuck in the gears very time. Only one wheel is driving the system and consequently it gets locked up very easily. It is also extremely heavy and very bulky which making storing very difficult. I called the company and they refused to take it back.

after a week of use the spreader stopped spinning leaving salt just spilling out below, then one of the tires jammed. We are currently trying to fix this on our own but not happy.

nothing but problems wheels lock up parts keep falling off same as salt dog just different name on it

We just bought 3 from global industries, all 3 broke first time using! Crappy construction!
