My old thinkpad Bluetooth daughter card begin to loose sound after 10 more minute play time.When I try to reinstall the driver, it won't allow me to install and shows1)"Bluetooth Device (RFCOMM Protocol TDI) #4 Failed install message.2)"Bluetooth Device (Personal Area Network)#3 Failed install message.I am originally thought it might be software conflict issue, but after about 24 hour troubleshooting, I have the conclusion that it might be the BT daughter board hardware error.Ordered this board and install in my laptop, works like a charm!!!This board have good quality, and I use it to drive TWS BT speaker for more than 1 hour and got no problem.

I'm trying to use 2018 headphones with my 2007 Thinkpad, I thought this might be the answer. It wasn't difficult to install. and actually connects with other devices, and I thought 4.0 would cover just about everything. My headphones do work with my phone and tablet. I don't know how to diagnose the problem or what's going on. But I can't give this much of a positive review, when the one single thing I wanted to connect to the most won't connect.

Ordered 3 of these thus far. One for Thinkpad T530 and two for Thinkpad L430. All three are working as advertised. Probably will buy another one. Highly recommended. Just make sure the part's FRU numbers match your laptop model. If not sure, first do a web search for "[your laptop/dektop model number] FRU list" (e.g. "Lenovo Thinkpad T530 FRU list"). That should take you to Lenovo's website where you can download FRU list for your particular model of Lenovo laptop/desktop. After that, you can do an additional web search for "Lenovo parts lookup" webpage. There you can enter FRU of the part you're looking for and even check if there are any substitutes for it.

This works great in the Thinkpad T530 I just bought. I would give it 5 stars but I had to take 1 star away because they don't include the screw. Yeah I know it says that they do not include any screws in the package and that would be just fine IF a screw was already in the socket that it goes in. I just so happened to find a screw in my tool box that fit but what if I didn't? Anyway, besides the screw thing this was a GREAT buy at a GREAT price & shipping was FAST.

I must say I am happy I purchased this item. I have a Lenovo T530, it was supposed to already have bluetooth but when going to setting and trying to pair a new device gave an error I removed the keyboard and palm rest and noticed it wasnt there. This was very easy to install and Windows 10 found it automatically. It works great.

Got one for my Thinkpad T430 and it works fine. Turned out, though, that I didn't need it. The T430 already had a bluetooth module installed, but it needed to be enabled in the BIOS under 'Security' | 'I/O Access'. After that, the bluetooth showed up via Fn-F5 and could be powered up. (It needed to be powered up before the Lenovo Bluetooth driver would install.)

So far this is working just fine, once I got Windows to recognize it. Working with both 4.0 (LTE) and older devices.

Easy install worked great as soon as drivers where installed. Great upgrade
