Banishing Cellulitis Infected Toe Nothing Else Worked On
This will be a long review but I should explain how serious the toe situation has been in order to show how amazing this oil is. I'm blown away by it. I have used a lot of essential oils over the years for many different things and none of them come anywhere close to what this one is doing.About 11 weeks ago I opened my front door to check for a delivery. Usually when I do that I just crack it a couple inches and use my foot as a doorstop. I happened to be wearing open toe dawgz sandals that day and felt a sharp pain as the makeshift bottom of the door runner that the maintenance had screwed on a few years ago stabbed my big toe near the top and just to the side of my toenail. Its made of some sort of hard plastic and metal.I immediately used peroxide to clean it out then hibiclense. It was bleeding a lot. But I was sure that it was fully disinfected so I used one of those hydro seal silicone bandages on it that you are supposed to leave on for a week. The next day I took a shower and the shower was clogged which made me feel uneasy about my toe being in standing water so I plunged it and was immediately dismayed when gross stuff came up and filled the tub . I had tried to plunge it with my foot on the narrow side of tub/wall area but couldnt keep my balance and had to put that foot into the tub in order to gain any leverage to use the plunger.I saw the hydroseal wasnt really on very tight and was starting to come off so I took it off and recleaned the wound with alcohol, then peroxide then the hibiclens and put another one on.I left it on for 2 days but then took it off because I thought it looked wierd and like it wasnt doing what it was supposed to be doing. The puncture area had a little chunk of flesh that had been gouged out but was still semi attached and I had put it back in place and sealed it with the hydro bandaid but I began feeling like that was a bad move and wished I'd used a normal bandaid and let that little chunk of my toe decide whether it wanted to heal into place or fall off on its own.It stopped hurting after the first couple days so I was just showering and dressing the wound each day but I noticed that the actual puncture/gash/piece I put back in place was a weird dark color and didnt look the way my cuts usually look as they heal. It wasnt going from red to pink to flesh color, it was sort of purple. Too dark. (My skins pale white for reference) But it didnt hurt so I thought it was fine.Maybe 3 days later my toe began to hurt. A LOT. Keep me awake all night pain and I couldnt stand for anything to touch it. The wound looked sealed closed yet it was dark purple and looked like the skin there was dead. I have a lot of herbal supplements so I pulled out all the antibiotic ones (berberine oregano oil) and began taking them. After 2 days of this I went to the hospital I couldnt walk and had to walk on the very outside of my left foot. I Couldnt stand to put a sock or bandage on let alone a shoe. I was in agony. The toe wound looked sealed but then a couple inches lower than the wound it was scarlet red, extending across my toe knuckle and just beneath the nail and then spreading to the inner side of the toe a bit.I kept putting antibiotic ointment on, then silver salve , tea tree oil. but it only got worse. I could tell the problem was that the wound sealed shut but infection was under the skin and nothing I put on the outside could penetrate down under the skin.It was also very swollen and bulbous looking especially on the outside of the toe a couple inches beneath where the entry wound had been. The Drs at the hospital told me it was cellulitis and prescribed 2 antibiotics. They said they would drain it but couldnt find any evidence of anything to drain.By the next day I could see in the worst area a blister had formed and wished the Dr had just opened it when I was there because it was obvious to me when he was saying theres no place to cut open, where it should have been opened. The wound itself should have been re opened and the dying tissue I stuc back on that somehow resealed itself should have been removed. Also during the night I started having seizures which started in the leg where the hurt toe was. The pain was so severe that I was shaking with it all night long and then the back of my neck would get stiff, and my left leg and it would also feel like electrical almost zapping in my leg. I stayed n the antibiotics fora day and a half before I realiized it was happening an hour and a half or so after I took them each time. So I went back to the hospital and got another antibiotic but it was in the same class and did the exact same thing as the first 2.I didnt stay on it 24 hours when I decided I had to do something natural cause I thought if I stayed on the antibiotic it was going to kill me. and I didnt trust the doctors anymore cause they kept prescribing the same type even though I was having seizures from the first ones they prescribed.By this point my toe was mixed hues of red to dark purple and black. I thought I might actually lose it. I began soaking it in hibiclens and warm water and then using manuka honey (sterile wound honey) on it and wrapping it. And rotating between every natural antibacterial herb I could find. (monolaurin, colostrum, garlic, oregano oil, cloves, berberine, amongst others)To my shock, the honey actually began debriding the infected parts of my toe as if it were a burn. layer after layer was coming off every time I changed the bandage. Finally, the toe looked pretty normal but still hurt although at a 2 to 3, rather than a 10. The black wound even came off and revealed pink healed new skin underneath. So I contiuned with the honey, sometimes adding tea tree or frankinsence or lavender oil to it. Sometimes adding neosporin, or silver salve. Because even though it was remarkably better I havent been able to leave it undressed and unwrapped or go off the herbs because every time I try it starts to hurt more and redness appears.Throughout all of this even when it looked normal I could tell it wasnt yet because when I shower and the foots under water I can see the redness everywhere it has been infected. Like the hot water allows me to see under the skin or something. For those of you questioning my judgement on why I wasnt going back to the hospital and was dealing with this alone, it was those seizures caused by the antibiotics that made me not trust them anymore. Because I went back and they gave me yet another one that did it. I even asked the pharmacist, this one wont give me seizures willl it?And he actually said no, none of them do that. But rightn there inn the drug literature it says a severe possible side effect is seizures and to stop taking it. Yet even though it happened to me (before I read the literature, mind you) they preescribed a 3rd drug from the same exact class of antibiotics that I had reacted to.Anyways my toe was largely healed but never fully healed and then the other day I felt a stinging on my toe knuckle and unwrapped it and saw red spots on the outside of the skin and thats what led me to to this manuka oil, as was desperately searching for something I hadnt tried that might work. I figured it might, because I had partial success with the manuka honey when nothing else worked. And this oil is from the manuka tree. So its got even more of that compound in it that makes that form of honey work so well.I've been using it for 2 days and its helping. It made the red dots and pain go away and I feel it may actually work to heal the toe 100%. I think its a matter of finding something that has the ability to penetrate through skin because its not an open wound anymore. This oil may be doing that. Ill update again within a few days. My toe looks very healthy and normal since I added this.

Using for 2plus months. Helping but not a cure for fungus. Update 5/26
I bought this based upon all the positive reviews on treating toenail fungus. I have a single toenail that’s been a problem for years. I’ve tried other products and oils in the past including oregano oil, tea tree oil, vinegar based gels and even vapor rub. None have really helped. It’s much too soon to tell if it works but the manuka mixed with jojoba seems to help the overall appearance of the afflicted nail. I will update my findings in a couple months. Many have made similar promises and not followed through but I think it’s important to provide usable feedback, especially if it really works. Pur360 did send me an additional bottle of the same manuka oil WITHOUT requiring me to review of their product. This helped offset the price of trying this as a possible cure. That’s a nice gesture on their part. Keeping my fingers crossed.Update 5/26. It’s been over 2 months of daily use. The treatment of daily manuka oil mixed with jojoba has held the toenail fungus in check, but hasn’t gotten rid of it. I still file down the nail every week and cover the toe with a bandaid after every application. It honestly looks better, but I can’t say it’s a total cure. The fungus seems embedded and the nail growing out is not enough to make it go away. I’ll continue treating it and hope for some improvement.

Great for cystic acne
This is a picture of my clear forehead now. Had a cystic acne pimple on my forehead, used once or twice a day every day, gone in 3 days. It did come back in a very tiny way weeks later, but a dab of prescription antibiotic gel finished it off. In comparison, the antibiotic gel did barely anything after 7 days on a different cystic pimple. So Manuka oil to get rid of the pimple, then antibacterial to make sure it doesn't come back once it's already beat. They're probably addressing different things. I also noticed that when I was having a bunch of acne I used Manuka oil on the area for 3 days and I stopped having as many breakouts.
