My 7 year old daughter had hours of fun with this kit. The little plastic enclosure held all the debris and it was very easy clean up. The “rock” itself was easy to pick through as long as she wet it first. She absolutely loved this activity

The media could not be loaded.  We decided to get the deluxe version of this dig kit, since it came with 2 full fossils digs! So both my 3 year old, and 7 year old got to enjoy doing it together! Definitely worth the money for the upgrade! The instructions for putting it together was pretty simple, my 7 year old just followed the numbers when putting the T-rex together. My 3 year old needed some help, but was able to easily hand me the pieces needed. The kit came with a nice chisel, hammer, and brush, which you can watch the video, where my 3 year demonstrates how to use it. And there's this little spray bottle, for helping the dust to be controlled.I'll probably also get this for my nephew, for his 5th birthday!

We used this for a scout activity and it worked well. The blocks break apart at a good pressure (not too easily and not impossible). The extra little fossil was a cool treat. The actual fossils were a decent plastic that are easy to assemble. The display box didn’t do much for us, but we wouldn’t use it anyways.

This was perfect for my 5 year old grandson. Great quality! Not only were the dinosaur bones a decent weight, the tools for the excavation were better than previous sets I have bought.

Mein Sohn (5,5j.) war so schlau Wasser zur Hilfe zu nehmen und hat das komplette Skelett in 30min freigelegt. Die Teile sind robust genug, so dass sie nicht gleich kaputt gingen obwohl er nicht gerade vorsichtig damit umging. Ich hatte es draußen versteckt und er war begeistert - sein erstes selbst entdeckte Dinoskelett :D Zusammenbau war kein Problem. Würde es immer wieder kaufen und auch verschenken.

I was incredibly disspointed to find that the dinosaur excavation kit which my son was very excited to receive came WITHOUT the most important parts of the pack.. The tools to actually excavate! We are missing the hammer, chisel, brush AND water bottle!
