Love this gadget. Really tenderizes tough cuts of any kind of meat without creating a pounding mess. Works quickly and easily. Small, light and efficient. Cleans easily by hand or in the dishwasher.

Tough to clean, SHARP. Use a fingernail brush first, I suggest hand washing and set it to dry right away. Looks like it might rust easily. Works for now, I would only use it a couple times a month myself, so it should last a while. If you have a big family, or use it all the time, look for a tougher product. I am happy with it.

I found this to be quite useful in rolling on baking potatoes before putting them in microwave. It works on meat but you still have to pound it out.
