How many times have you gone to make a cup of tea, just so the string and paper tag falls in, you fish it out with a spoon, burn your fingers squeezing the wet bag and it making a mess on your counters? This does exactly how it is describe and what it is suppose to do. It not only holds the pesky string with paper tag from falling in your cup, but it acting like a lid keeps your tea piping hot until you have determined it is fully brewed to your liking. Then when you remove it from your cup, with one hand you can squeeze the tea bag and flip the tea bag holder over to keep your counters clean and messy free as it becomes a type of tea bag caddy for it. After disposing the used tea bag, I then use it as a lid to help keep my tea hot while sitting at my desk kitchen table or coffee table. What is surprising is the accomodating feature of the tea bag buddy. It fits different sizes of tea cup and mugs including those large cappuccino coffee mugs. I chose the white and was at first concerned it would become stained with tea over a period of time, but so far that has not happened considering I drink multiple cups of tea a day. It washes and cleans up nicely. If you are a tea drinker this is a must for a fuss free, mess free way to enjoy a nice cup of tea. The downside to this item? Wished it was offered in more than just the three colors offered.

I LOVE this product - I first found it in a retail store and purchased one for me and one for a friend as part of a little house warming present (she loved it too). It fully covers a wide cup if needed for steeping, holds a tea bag string in place (they do not slip through), and then provides a burn-free way to squeeze (or just grasp) the tea bag upon removal, and will hold it while upside down containing any further seepage until I am ready for disposal. I came to Amazon to find more. My mother needed one and since I purchased a set of two I have a small gift ready for the next appropriate recipient. Win-win-win.

This is lovely and exactly as advertised. I wish it were a little bit larger, or that there were another, larger size -- I tend to drink hot beverages from mugs, rather than dainty teasets or demitasse cups. It's fine for regular cups and mugs. It works well, and keeps the tea hot, and it's nice to have a place to put the soggy bag. I'm glad I got the double set, because one is going off to my yogini niece, along with a buddha mug and saucer.

Love these, these are great when you only want to make a cup. You can use as a cover to steep, use to express the tea bag w/o burning fingers and set the expressed tea bag on the counter mess free. till you are ready to toss it. Replaces my one-cup tea habit of using a plate to cover the cup, a spoon to squeeze/wrap, and a papertowel for my counter.

Now these are handy AND keep your tea steeping, warm. I really like these, easy to use, keeps your tea bag from falling all the way in, you can use it to wring the bag and it will hold it in the little top for you until you throw it away. You do need a napkin near by, may drip here and there while wringing if you are not careful.

I've been using these for years. It's funny, I didn't know this product even existed so when I went to search for what I needed to steep and hold my tea bag, I was thinking, "where has this been all my life?!" My husband and I are daily tea drinkers and these stand the test of time.

These are standard size mascara wands. Ilike that they come in different colors. They apply mascara as you would expect. They are big for the lower lashes though, so be careful when applying there.
