Purchased for a 4 year old granddaughter.It was packaged nicely in a bag made of the same material as the playhouse. I was impressed with the quality of the components. The fabric is good quality as is the netting, not that cheap stuff that sticks to everything! The netting is also generously layered in to the top of the tent, resulting in a nice gathered fullness. All the edges on the product are nicely sewn with binding (though the stitch count could be higher) I found not one flaw in sewing or materials! Amazing! I would not want to be the one sewing this for 3x the price!My tent came with no written directions at all. I don't know if that was a mistake as I've read other reviews critical of the directions. However, assembly was very logical and surprisingly easy! It took me approximately 20 minutes, including hanging the lights... and I did not have to crawl into the tent! Bravo on the design!The poles are good quality plastic with no sharp or rough edges. The poles used to frame the bottom and top of the tent walls and the verticals have an integrated plastic connector and are nicely connected with an elastic cord inside, assisting in holding the pole together for assembly and keeping the parts together. The plastic corner connectors are substantial and not flimsy. The roof truss poles have a separate connector and are not held together with elastic, but they fit nicely between the roof cap pice and the vertical poles.The lights are not integrated into the tent, but need to be hung separately. There are no specific places built in for the lights, but I found it fairly easy to wrap them around the poles so that it circled the roof line and then made one run up to the peak and back. The points on the LED Stars could damage the material if you are not careful in stringing the lights, but once hung, there is no problem. The control pack for the lights hold 3 AA batteries, not provided, and does not appear to be rugged enough for handling by young children. String the lights so the the switch is out of reach or hidden in a small pull string bag or something similar. The product photos on Amazon show a variety of styles of lights. Mine came with the small stars, not the large ones shown in some pictures.Very well made for the price. But the material is not a durable canvas :) it appears to be a lightweight polyester/rayon. Beautiful, feels soft, is a nice tight weave, but I do not think this tent would stand up to rough play without the material or seams tearing. It's for reading, tea parties, puzzles, sleep overs, dolls.....not tag, jumping, or wrestling.My research on this type of product before purchase discovered that there are many items selling for much more than this. I am delighted with my choice!

Hope you can read Chinese. I didn't see the directions, only the outside of the package. I bought this for my grandchildren on advice from my daughter-in-law and when I received it I was pretty shocked. Everything was written in Chinese. My son said it took 8 attempts to put it together. They would begin and then take it apart and start over. They got it together and the kids love it I'm told.

I got this for a little over a month now, and its currently in the trash. My 4yr old and 2yr old loved till the connectors that hold the rods in place -cracked and broke, not just one but several of them basically shattered. We tried to remedy it by taping the joint connectors together which worked for a little while before the other connectors started to break as well. It wasn't looking anything like what it was supposed to anymore.If they had used a higher quality plastic can could withstand flex and sway of the bars that hold the shape, this product would have held up for longer.

The star lights are small and broke off immediately. There are no large stars either as featured in the photos. The packaging has no instructions so it took some time before I could get it assembled. The tent itself is a bright pink and is beautiful so I love the tent but wish it had instructions, better quality lights, hooks for the lights to hold onto the top of the tent and larger stars as well as because the photos are somewhat misleading.

We ordered 8 of these for a social distanced b’day party with plans to give them away as party favors to the attendees.However, 3 of them had bags that were ripped / torn and about 5-6 had black stains on them.Luckily for us, not all the kids showed up to the party so we only ended up using 5. I was able to clean the black stains off the bags that we gave as favors.It took about 20 minutes to set up the first one and then 10-15 minutes each to set up the rest. Make sure you push the plastic tubes all the way into the connectors to ensure the last pieces fit in place. Hold the connector up to light and see if there’s room to push the tubes together - this will help set up go a lot quicker (and with a lot fewer expletives) The plastic stars on the lights kept falling off; but the lights were a lovely touch.They are not too sturdy and I am certain they will not last too long; but it’s a tent under $30 - so not too concerned about that.All in all the kids loved their tents and they looked absolutely dreamy when set up for the party. However, I would not recommend these if you’re planning on giving as a gift.

This was a GREAT gift idea for our 4 y/o. It was her favorite birthday present by far. She's had it for about 3 months now, and I think it was a great value for the price. Do keep in mind that if your little girl has rambunctious siblings, you may want to set some boundaries for their use of it though, because like anything of this nature, it won't last through a lot of ROUGH-housing. (Don't get me wrong, it's solid--I don't think it would hold up well to a child that would deliberately push it over, try to flip it, or repeatedly tug on the framing, ect.) Over all, I think this is an amazing gift idea for any little girl--I've seen many similar items, of equal quality and priced much higher. I would absolutely recommend this little girl's play house.

Today my daughters got their princess castle, I waited over two weeks for it to get here, but it was free shipping so its noot a big deal. It looses one star for not having instructions on how to build, it wasnt complicated but still took a bit of assembling to figure the pieces out. It doesnt look too sturdy because of the pvc pipes but its doable.. for the quality it is too expensive. It lost another star because It seemed as the fabric was going to be a bit more thicker but it was not. I would return it but my daughters really liked it, but the quality is to cheap for the pricee.. if this doesnt bother you then buy it , but dont expect good quality!

Great product, looks the same as picture, still a little expensive but worth to buy cause you may not find this kind of play tent in retail, quality is good!
