Q: Does this come with only one tip?

Comes with two (pink and blue tip). However, this isn't anywhere near as easy to use or as powerful as a tank-based model. Stopped using ours.

Q: Profloss after about nine months of use could not stay attached. Popped off easily. Any solution?

I've had this issue. Overtime your water will leave deposits on the attachment. Unscrew it drop it in a cup of vinegar overnight and then flush it and reinstall. You'll get some extra life out of the part

Q: Can I (is there a possibility that I) snap it on without device? Would it work by holding the connector by hand?

Don't understand what you mean by "without device". Can tell you that it won't work by holding the connector in your hand up next to the faucet. Gotta take off the existing aerator, put on the attachment that comes with the water flosser, and then snap in the flosser. BTW, we have taken ours off; even with the water on full force, not much of a spray in your mouth, just a lot of dribbling into the sink and an occasional mess from the spray hitting the mirror or counter top.
