Just what I needed
Slimline, very sturdy and with a wee table for paint pot. Had a flimsy pair of steps before. These are heavy which would normally put me off. However, I don't want steps to wobble when I am on the top step. A great buy.

Poorly packaged; ladder itself is ok but arrived scuffed
The ladder was wrapped in thin plastic and was ripped in places with parts poking out, so it had marks and the paint was damaged in areas and not what I'd expect for paying £40 for a brand new item. The tray is useful although it needs a slight bit of adjustment to fold back flat. The top step is sturdy as it's supported by a rung. The other 2 steps are more suspended and sturdy enough for someone around 60kg though I can feel them give a little. Not sure how sturdy they are for heavier folks.

looks a very safe and sturdy step ladder
This ladder is the right height for reaching lower levels - I have not used it yet but it does look very sturdy and I like the ledge on which to put your materials/paint etc. It is quite heavy tho and it took me a while to work out how to flatten it again as there were no instructions.It arrived only in a clear polythene bag that was badly torn in several places.

Ladder is very heavy for my use. I have to return. Disappointed as I have to Pay postage and it’s a large item. So will cost me a lot! Lots of sellers don’t usually charge postage.

Great
It was delivered with careful double packages. It looks much better than pictures and easy to setup and lighter than I expected but very stable.I am very happy with this product.

ABRU 12623 Folding 3 Tread Slimline Step Ladder with High Handrail and Tool Tray
I chose ABRU as a well known maker of ladders. As I am getting older, I needed more stability when changing light bulbs, changeing smoke alarm batteries and reaching into the upper shelves of cupboards. This is quite heavy but very well made and stable; I find it excellent for my use. It is slightly stiff to fold and unfold, but this might ease over use and time.

I love these step ladders
These are great. They do indeed fold to just a few cm so they’re easily stored.My other favourite feature is the fold out shelf … I don’t know how I managed without one before!They are heavy — especially compared to aluminum ones but they have to be a lot wider so I prefer these.Excellent
