Alpina Savoie Polenta Instant, 17.5-Ounce (Pack of 12)

I purchased this Instant Polenta product in a 12-pack directly from Amazon in April 2014 and tried several boxes during the course of a two-week period, experimenting with how best to prepare the polenta and different ways to enjoy it. I'm on a gluten-free diet and found this product to be a pretty good alternative for several types of meals. Thinking I had found a quality product, I purchased another 12-pack within a few days and kept it in my pantry. I also gave several boxes to my mother to try, as 24-boxes can be quite a bit to go through before the expiration date. Now in late June 2014, I discovered that some type of insect egg had been in the product, as both the stuff in my pantry and my mother's home 100 miles away both had been contaminated with this bug, now very much alive and enjoying polenta. Needless to say, I discarded the product. While I had enjoyed several boxes, the majority had to be thrown out and I cannot recommend the Alpine Savoie Instant Polenta any longer.
