Not what I hoped
I generally like buying and using all types of tools, not so this contour gauge though. As they go then this is actually fine, it is strong and locks well. However, I found that in actual use I had more success marking and cutting a template out of a piece of A4 paper, the main problem I found was positioning the copied contour accurately on the floor tile, the contour itself was fine but obviously it needs to go in the correct place.

Useful Tool for the Toolbox
It comes in two sizes and the contour gauge locks. My previous gauges were too small and did not lock in place.

Bought 2 packs of these, I love it as it’s great for cutting round bottom of stairs, round toilets and tons of other stuff, got one for a mate at work and he loves it.

The fins are too flimsy for scribing around pipe work they just spread out very inaccurate
