I have been looking for a mound that pours pristine looking chocolates and this product does exactly that

This is a professional quality mold and is not one that you can twist to get them out (they are not easy to remove from mold but still 5 stars because I was expecting this from the professional style mold). This mold would not work with untempered chocolate and don't recommend to beginners. We bought to make two half egg shells to make filled easter eggs. Tempered our chocolate, filled the mold, set a moment, flipped upside down & tapped to drain out excess chocolate, then scraped to make smooth edges. Once unmolded, we filled one side with mini candies, lightly melted the edge of the other side on a hot surface then glued them together to make a whole Easter egg.Our first few attempts we had some trouble getting the eggs out of the mold without them breaking (once we figured out how long to let them set to get our desired thickness it got easier). We used craft dark chocolate (was 2 ingredients but we added cocoa butter for tempering) and Valrhona white chocolate feves. The white chocolate needed a lot more time to set in order to be thick enough not to break.

Very good policarbonate mold and it came with a $5 gift card in exchange for feedback to their customer service. I made a few suggestions and never got an answer nor they honored the gift card
