Kindness Matters

I have the great honour of knowing the author. A down to earth northern lad. He’s always been a guy who came across as an old fashioned gentleman, whenever he visited my shop in Blackburn.Then he gave me his book to read. What an eye opener. I’m not a “self help” book kind of girl. But I loved it !Life is hard ! We all struggle. Sometimes it can be unbearable! Cruel ! So if each off us did one thing no matter how small , imagine the effect that could have.Let’s support each other. Let’s lift each other up.We can get threw anything together:)

A fantastic book that everyone should read. Kindness really does matter and this book affirms how one act can impact not only on your life, but others.

Kindness Matters is most definitely an uplifting read. The author is truly inspiring and having suffered personal loss himself is able to motivate the reader to make you feel that anything is possible if you have a positive mental attitude. The world is full of greed and selfishness and this lovely book encourages the reader to give something back to their community. The 30 day challenge of doing a simple act of kindness each day give you a sense if purpose and is great for your own well being. What is more special than doing a kindness act for someone and having them smile from ear to ear. It warms the cockles of your heart. I would thoroughly recommend this book. How honoured am I to have been part of such an amazing journey with John Magee. I've only known him for a brief period but he has considerably changed the way I go about my day to day life. I received my book last weekend, and also did my own RAOK and paid it forward by purchasing one for my sister also to spread the message. Since then, I haven't been able to prise it off my mum who can't put the book down! Such an uplifting read and a fantastic movement for every community! I am moving to Greece for the summer and proud to say I will be representing the RAOK community over there by being a kindness ambassador! Changing the world, one kindness act at a time!

This book has literally changed my view about life. There is no reason that stops you from being kind. It’s a choice we have the luxury of having. Once you read this book, your life will change, for the better!

What a fantastic book as soon as i picked it up i could not put it down. Its motivational book encouraging each and everyone of us to make a difference were we are like minded people sharing the same view . Great for all ages whatever you background this book is for you.I have already got my children reading it also family members are already saying the changes are real. Received my book this morning,I literally couldn't put it down. The author John Magee gives a honest and heartfelt account of his journey leading to this book and his vision in making the RAOK (random acts of kindness) a global movement is truly inspiring in what is sometimes an uncertain world. To rise up from such heartbreak and write the book is a testament to the man in my opinion. It's really opened my eyes and I can't wait to do the 30 day challenge with my family.
