41 gal aux tank w/install kit-RECTANGLE

The tank came as ordered. Nicely packaged with the only damage being slightly bent mounting tabs; no big deal. The tank appears to be a well built product. They recommended 1 1/2" mounting bolts. Problem is, this size bolt has a half inch unthreaded shank and the tank can't be cinched down. I can't see any scenario where this size bolt would work. An extra trip to the hardware store to get 1" long bolts. The fuel shotz system was easy to install and would probably work pretty good if your truck's fuel tank is leak free. My 2004.5 RAM's tank leaks (probably from the fuel pump). Had I not been observant, I would have dumped 40 gallons of diesel on my driveway! I had to install an electric valve that is hooked to a dash switch and an indicator light. I now only transfer fuel when I am driving and keeping an eye on the gauge. Not the tank manufacturer's fault.Another niggle, Amazon's description is terrible and the tank is impossible to find using Amazon's search tool. The only way I found it was to use a link I found on Google. The manufacturer's number was no help as it is nowhere in the description.
